I initially came to PPD for the fuckery and stayed because I love to debate as a form of mental masturbation. I used to be part of a debate team in college so I get a kick out of debates.

PPD is less of a debate sub and more of a venting sub with a debate format. People of every pill and gender will just flat out pour out their soapboxes in the forms of questions and ask people to "CMV" or discuss it. That's cool and all but that ain't an actual debate lol.

I still love the sub though. I never take it that seriously but sometimes I do feel bad for the posters who do take it seriously and get triggered so damn easily over what should be a straightforward discussion.

I hope some of the people with their soapboxes actually "touch grass" outside the sub and understand that there's a whole world outside the Angry MRA/4th Wave Feminist echo chamber that dominates the sub.
