Nah, the only people who ever supported me and were with me when I needed them were women. Most of the advice that was good for me was given to me by other women.

My best friends are more attractive than me. I don’t hate them, I love them. Older women were never anything but helpful and supportive towards me as well.

You know who hates women? Men. They hate women who are not submissive and traditional all the time.

Even when I don’t do anything but exist in a space regarding my hobby, they hate on me for that. Like, they literally tell me that I’m not supposed to be there because I’m a woman. You know who doesn’t hate me and encourages me to keep going? Other women.

Idk I’ve seen too many women who are really good, supportive friends to each other to be able to believe such a sweeping statement.

Especially when your source material is “online communities”. Which communities are you even referencing? Knitting communities? The communities of women who share cooking recipes? What are women doing online that makes you think they hate each other?

Hell, women cooperate better than men a lot of the time. What with all that wild social justice stuff they keep unifying around. Men won’t even unify for their own mutual good.

I’d be curious how you could actually prove it by something more objective than “my friend told me”. Sure, some women are of jealous and anxious type and they feel the need to outcompete other women for attention, but it’s usually pretty easy to notice them. There are some toxic friends groups as well, but I don’t think they represent an average author or the majority of women.

On a personal note, from one hand, I did get bullied by my own “friends” in high school, but I also found some great friends in university and I’m fairly close to my cousins. My mother has some great decades-long friends as well and they’ve helped each other multiple times.

Not my experience. That's not to say that this doesn't happen, of course it does, people get jealous and/or insecure sometimes, and act like assholes. I'm sure in very competitive spaces that's the norm for everyone. But the largely female spaces I've been in (work, hobbies, friend groups to some extent), most people have been supportive and genuinelly sweet.

People say things all the time. Opinions are like assholes. Doesn't mean we have to take them all seriously.

Women don't "secretly hate" other women because jealousy exists any more than men "secretly hate" other men given all the screeching on this sub about "Chad." Jealousy and envy isn't gender-specific, and most women are too concerned about their own lives, issues, and busy with regular day-to-day activities to spend any significant amount of time and energy "hating other women."

I don't hate other women. I don't think about other women any more than I think about other men. I'm living my life.

Not in my experience. There are big sisters everywhere and women look out for one another. Women's restrooms and dressing rooms are notorious filled with supportive women.

Women compliment one another, smile at one another, can comfortably and easily chat with other female strangers.

Most women respect their friends interests in dating unless that friend is interested in everybody. I have personally not pursued a romantic relationship I really wanted to pursue because my friend liked him. He even asked me out and I had to decline even though it ate away at me but ultimately it was the right decision.

Where this may have some accuracy is in women’s competitive sports. I played soccer throughout my childhood. After puberty I began to excel beyond most of my peers, I was athletically gifted. I became recognized as one of the best female players in the state and so I ended up a target I was even assaulted out of the blue so I began getting into fights.. Then I would get thrown out of the game it really sucks this tactic worked on me looking back. My parents were either unaware of this or didn’t care because they saw it as self defense because I really wasn’t violent until someone touched me then I’d put them on their ass.

I never got assaulted playing with the men they’d always go easy on me.

What you’re talking about—the “this is mostly hidden from men”—is called the FSM or female social matrix. It is not always competition, and in fact I would rarely say it is competitive. But, like men, women have their own in-group ranking of who’s on top. It’s important to note tho that not all women care about this at all, and your supposed female friend doesn’t seem to understand the FSM either.

The thing with the FSM is that it’s not about who has more male validation or attraction—it’s about obtaining and maintaining in-group acceptance. It’s, for the most part, cooperative and supportive. And if she’s trying to get to the top, it’s about how she compares to other women. It has nothing to do with how many simps and orbiters she has; it’s about how WOMEN view attractiveness in OTHER WOMEN. How WOMEN view success amongst OTHER WOMEN. That’s why it’s called the FEMALE social matrix.

But it doesn’t mean she “gets very angry” or hates other women either. Do our think men who are competing to be at the top of the male hierarchy hate other men? Of course he doesn’t lol, he is just competitive. What kind of nonsense is that.

It's not a secret. It's not even an open secret. It's just known between us that a lot of us don't like others of us. Like, what are you talking about. I hate some women. I dislike some women. I like some women. I love some women. Some women you compete with, some women compete with you. It is what it is, I'm not sure why this is counted as like some conspiracy uncovered.

I will say personally, a lot of my closest and most supportive relationships have been with women. And while there was def issues when we were all young and insecure, now in my late 20s and 30s, it has been awesome and wonderful to surround myself with women. It has been fantastic and joyful.

Women will literally go into a toilet cubical with a girl they just met and spend ten minutes giving them compliments.

While I do wonder if all women have the supportive social networks that women on PPD seem to suggest they have, I would definitely say women are more supportive of each other in general. For one thing, they have an eternal scapegoat to band together against in solidarity: men. They will always have that in common and will support each other on some level accordingly (with some outlying exceptions of course).

I wouldn't say hate. But it's kind of a similar experience you face being black. It's often those speaking most resolutely about black pride who'll be the first to stab you in the back. Hell, we all see how BLM basically became a grifters paradise. And that's despite having plenty of great experiences with other black people and preferring environments with a healthy amount of other black people too.

I notice it with my fiance. She's a girls girl and has a lot of positive relationships with other women and a lot of female friends and colleagues. But she's also had some toxic ones. And of those, they often have a somewhat similar M.O. They often struggle with the opposite sex, are prone to buying into political movements, have troubled relationships with their fathers and often operate from a heavy perceived victim hood.

It seems like the female solidarity you see in many online spaces is just a facade. In reality women are very competitive with each other.

This is true but I kinda feel you're letting online discourse shape your perception. If I'm to be very honest, I feel a lot of the female posters on this sub (and certain female centric subs) very much overcompensate on their need to express this dubious solidarity. I often think it's espoused by the very women who struggle to actually form real bonds with the same sex (I think its similar to redpillers, a big overlooked aspect of the mindset is many young mens lack of male role models and real world bonds with other men). However it's unwise to assume these individuals count for all women in the real world. In reality, you'll find those very women who have great relationships with other women have no issue pointing out toxic attitudes and behaviours in other women. Because the real world friendships often means they don't have to sit online arguing with strangers online for hours on end let alone contribute to the ridiculous hivemind of progressive thought. My fiance will often reflexively take the side of other women but she never argues in immensely bad faith or refuse to pushback on toxic misandrist nonsense you sometimes see from the "pinkpill"/"fds" you sometimes see here.

What you're getting at when saying "women secretly hate each other" is women's in group cultural bias. However this is often merely a social lubricant and tool to regulate the behaviour of men. And it's a good one tbh. I think its wise women have gender wide codes of conduct to ensure we don't live in a society where child abandonment/rape/femicide don't go unchecked. But that's all it is, a bias. It's unwise to assume women hate each other when learning said bias doesn't really extend beyond that.

I have always noticed this and it is annoying as fuck to me, and insulting.

Whenever I am with women in general I do notice that if a prettier woman is engaging with me (non sexually & non romantically) other women I know will display territorial behavior and insinuate themselves unto me, doing little dumb shit to get my attention and I will notice furtive glances at that other girl with a flash of resentment in their eyes. The reason this annoys the fuck out of me is because it's low key drama or the seedlings of drama. Why the fuck can't women just fucking live in peace? This is extremely aggravating!

Secondly, I am not some fucking tree that these women need to mark their fucking scent on. This is the part that insults me. As if I am too fucking stupid not to notice what they are doing, or am not in control of my own faculties and will be bewitched by any woman's charms. It's a form of psychological territorialism, women think they can own a man's mind. That is why they try to shoo away any other woman who tries to get my attention, even if I am not particularly interested in that other woman to begin with.

A man is not some fucking litter box where women think they can just dump their shit on and it will just stay buried in his mind and that you have to defend your turf from other women. Whenever I notice women doing this sneaky passive aggressive shit I just give the middle finger to both of them. Bringing that drama to me kills all my sympathy for you.
