Women often describe male virgins in negative terms when it comes to dating due to the unattractive traits that come with the label. Men who are virgins past a certain age aren't wanted due to their lack of sexual/relationship experience, personal baggage, and because they're likely deficient in something that made others not attracted to them.

What many people overlook is that the female equivalent to these virgins are women who have been raped or sexually assaulted. Most women will never experience rape/sexual assault, so those that do are part of the (below statistically average) minority, just like male virgins are. It goes without saying that there's a lot of personal baggage that will almost certainly negatively affect their partner, and their past trauma will likely lead them to mistrust or even hate men as a whole. It's important for men to recognize these signs and realize what they're getting into. Both groups are similar in that they have very unattractive traits when it comes to dating/sex.
