I don't even know what a "Bluepill relationship" entails exactly but sure, you can be in a square relationship and be happy. The only thing I say is that a woman can't respect a guy she feels she's better than, and will eventually come to resent a supplicating, spineless guy. She'll become an unpleasant mess and he'll become a shell of a guy.

I think it’s safe to say everyone has different standards. One man’s meat is another man’s poison. So while the egalitarian model with indistinguishable gender roles might be the ideal for some, it will be unsatisfactory or even intolerable for others. That’s a big part of the attraction of red pill thinking. It’s not just the fact that it produces satisfactory results, it presents a worldview outside of the heavily influenced feminist view which seeks to influence male behaviour along feminist lines.

No doubt there will be blue pillers who are happy and fulfilled in their relationships and those that are not. I think the point is that someone with a red pill, not necessarily a trp, outlook is not going to be satisfied in a blue pill relationship. Blue success is not red success.

IMO the egalitarian model fails for lots of people, but still works for some. However, and some radfems agree with me, I have noticed that very left leaning feminist people often maintain gender roles in their personal lives without realizing it, and even while simultaneously criticizing them.

What do I think of it? Well I know what worked for me, and I know what didn't work for me. If something else worked for them, then great, but I know for a fact that it didn't work for me, and I hold my reality up way higher than what someone else says on reddit. As far as my relationships, I have gone from struggling to get any female attention to getting as much as I want with very little effort.

People have different standards for what makes them happy, and indeed they have different ideal relationship models altogether. I believe many RP are happy and I believe many BP are happy.

Bully for you. If you're happy, TRP is not for you, and you'll find a lot of what we say/discuss unnecessary.
For BP Men, I wonder about the timeline, and I wonder about the parts of the story they're missing. Is there SO being honest with them? If the relationship crashes in next week, month, etc, will you share how/why?
For BP women, I wonder if their boyfriend would describe there relationship the same way. If we went to a bar would he tell me he's as happy as you tell us he is? Would he be as content with your arrangement after 3 beers?

On of the benefits/shortcomings of this medium is anonymity. We are judged by the quality of our theory and arguments, but it is impossible to provide verifiable personal real life data. I discuss under the assumption that everything posted here is true from the authors point of view, that's about as much as any of us can ask.

I think it's definitely possible. I don't think BPers lie or are delusional about their happiness.

I think it's just a matter of different definitions of "success stories".

Before RP, I would have gotten married to a family friend's daughter after college and started a typical family. Or I could have been a tall, nice guy that lands an average looking, nice girl in college. And BP me would have been happy with that. I really like my family friend's daughter and I've met some delightful girls in the CS department.

After RP, my goals are much more grand. I now have the choice to go for the LTR with an average, nice girl or spin plates with hotter women. I have the choice to have the salary job and start a family or go big and build my own companies.

Overall, TRP has laid out a guideline and shown me that if I aim big for what I want out of life, it's on me to put in the work and pursue it.

There's no reason at all to not believe them, there isn't a "right" way to be happy, if their relationship works for them and makes them happy then they should keep doing what they're doing.

Despite being very much in charge, the guy I'm seeing at the moment is a self professed active feminist and I'm basically a misogynist...it's an odd mix but it works and we're happy doing what we're doing...until he makes me wear his "crush the patriarchy shirt" again because he has a sick sense of humour :(

I don't really see the Alpha/Beta dichotomy the way other people see it. Both sets of skills have their place. Alpha skills are great for meeting/seducing girls, but beta skills are great for making a relationship work.

Everyone was saying to keep working on beta skills, but for many men their weakness was their lack of alpha skills.

I have a great marriage and I believe it is from knowing which skill set to use at the right time.

I don't think they are lying or delusional, but :

Most BPers who are in a relationship post here to feel vindicated. If they were single and/or unsuccessful for a while, their approach to advice and arguing would be compromised. Why? Because they would be projecting their own ad hominem attacks ("You can't get a girl, therefore, you're this or that").
For what I've noticed, most of their relationships work with the woman in the active/dynamic/dominant role. This can actually work fine, I've been in those myself, if the man is then passive/submissive. That same style can't work for a RPer because it just feels off from the beginning or the attraction never comes up (both avoiding each other).

Basically, here's the deal. A fuck ton of TRPers lived what they thought were successful relationships, which was a modern version of Western social pair bonding (which itself was always very BP). Then she swung to another branch. RP is an awakening, one which it often forged in pain, if not observation of tragedy elsewhere. Even you are still in a relationship during this awaking, you will still seethings as they are. Are you an AB? (Probably not.) Are you a BB? (Probably.) Things will suddenly make a lot more sense.

We say hypergamy is the women wanting the best male she can attain, and branch swinging when he comes up. This is often misinterpreted into believing that a woman is out with her boyfriend, then a 6'5, 230 pound 7% body fat male model flashes a smile at her and she jumps onto him.

This is wrong. Hypergamy is the female going for the best male she FEELS she can get. This is why girls do illogical shit like cheating on a med school student with a surfer. To males, we can easily deduce logically that the med student is the better choice of male, but IN THE MOMENT, she FELT the surfer was the better Alpha, and so cheated.

My view is that Blue Pill guys have happy relationships because their women FEEL they are the best they can obtain. It's not that BP are right and RP are wrong. It's just the female feels the BP man is the best choice at that moment.

What we must remember is how easily and quickly women's feelings change...

BP complains a lot about RP's emphasis on sex, on not settling for less than a woman offered to other men, and judging younger women as more attractive and less jaded. I think a lot of men would be disappointed and frustrated at finding themselves in relationships that BP would judge as successful.

I'm sure there are exceptions, but most stories I see here are from young-ish people whose current relationship is only a year or two old. I don't consider a "success" until it lasts at least 10 years. Even ten I'm suspicious because I've seen lots of relationships collapse after 15-20 years. They seem good from the outside, but then I talk to them about why it ended its because they have been having problems for a looooong time. They often try to hold it together for the kids but...

Most of the ones I hear are either chock full of red pill shit, which the blue pillers never realize because they don't bother to learn RP theory before criticizing it, or sound like a BB that the guy's totally unaware of. A few surprise me a bit and I just assume the guy's really good looking or something. A lot of them sound full of shit.

it is without a doubt that a blue can get a mate. the issue is more on being able to keep it, and under what the real terms and motivations are to be able to.

how stable is it when a red DOES get in the picture? has it really been tested? is your woman really with you even coz you are the best she ever wanted, or she is truly settling?

you locked down the woman, or has she taken control more? through the sex control system. shit ive seen enough blue men who live shitty married lives being under the pussy whip.

it is easy to 'be' in a relationship. to get everything you ever wanted is another thing.

just as, we have different needs. what might make a blue happy may not make a red or purple or whatever else happy.

for ex, if all i wanted was pussy once every 2 months, and THAT is enough to consider it a fulfilling relationship, i can say i have one. even at the expense of not having a life in exchange, because what? i might not have a life at all to begin with. circumstance you know.

He doesn't know that how fucking awful this is, and that it doesn't have to be like that, so he deludes himself into thinking he's happy.

Of course-- if people were satisfied with the romantic relationships they're having, there'd be no impetus to look for anything red pill related. Folks find TRP looking for alternatives to BP wisdom, because they're not happy with the way BP wisdom is working out for them.

Pretty "red pill". I strive to be a good first mate to my bf's captain role. It works for us. I've had relationships with men that were more "egalitarian", or where I was the dominant one-- I ended up anxious and sexually unfulfilled once the new relationship energy wore off.

1) They acted more alpha than they let on, i.e. were somewhat naturally alpha

b) They have higher SMV than they believed or let on

c) They lowered their standards

d) They took the self-improvement advice on RP while quietly internalising the 2nd phase anger and bitterness without expressing it IRL or online in the form of whiney posts, which made them more attractive because women don't want men to feel that the insecurities they have in the SMP are valid.

Most of the time we only hear one side of the story, and last I checked there's two people in a marriage. This goes for both BP and RP success stories though.

Although, that being said I'm sure many of BP guys and gals are in a happy relationship where both people are happy and satisfied. I don't think TRP is meant for all men. Some men don't mind letting the women make decisions or being in an egalitarian relationship. I personally don't think it works and I feel one person should take control in the relationship. I would personally rather be the one in control. I don't like following other people because it makes me anxious.

Also, I find many BP guys are likely naturally masculine, high SMV men who find it absurd that a whole forum needs to exist to teach people this. Similarly, I think many BP women are in relationships with such naturally alpha men and they feel the same way about guys who have to read posts and field reports to learn these things. Those relationships are probably doing amazing.

Like I said though, some guys just like taking a passive role in life and relationships.

My best friend has been in the most beta relationship ever. He's been dating her 6 years and still has not had sex with her. Claims she doesn't want to have premarital sex although she also claims she doesn't want to get married. Publicly shames and ridicules him. Calls him fat. Makes him pay for everything (he paid a large portion of her university tuition as a "loan), makes him drive her everywhere because she doesn't have a licence (why would she need one?).

I would probably kill myself if I was in such a relationship but this guy is happy as fuck. Granted his career and social life has come to a complete halt and he is so head over heels for her she can literally do no wrong. I don't think he would want a RP relationship until he gets his heart crushed from her.

Happiness is ultimately a temporary ideal, and can be based in truth OR ignorance. The only way the relationship is a "success story" is if it ends in lasting marriage (i.e together till one dies), and one which isn't a) based on the fact one party doesn't know what the other is doing, b) held together by fear of loss. The fact is, you won't really know the levels of the success for another 50 years.
