Yes they do (some men at least). I think men just have a thing about using the word "masculine" to describe what they're attracted to, but they don't mind using other phrasing like "tomboy" or specifically describing typically masculine traits/hobbies.

Or sometimes they will just redefine "feminine" to mean "things that I am attracted to". I once had a man on this sub tell me that feminine women are assertive and direct.

I'd say media has a role to play in this. The mainstream media portrays a specific look of both men and women. People are constantly exposed to it and form in their minds that it's how things look.

Example body hair: It's rare to see a man having body hair in mainstream media. It's even rarer to see women with body hair. Both genders grow body hair. For me the lack of body hair (combined with a smaller/narrower frame) signals that the person is still underage. Ilustratory meme.

Correction: Women love beautiful men, they don't seem to care very much for feminine men. Women have an appreciation for men who look "beautiful" as in majestic, strong, good figured and physically graceful, powerful, and respectful.

You will also have shit sense of when to stop and how to stay calm and stoic when you do not have that emotional balance and psychological centeredness needed to handle dangerous and stressful situations that require you to competently protect someone.

You will definitely be a shitty procreator when the failure of the previous two traits mean that women will not find you attractive enough to have your kids.

Now when it comes to physical appearance - again - they do not mean feminine men as in men with high estrogen and the body proportions that go with it. In fact, women are most turned off by men who appear physically feminine. When women use the word feminine they mean those things that are considered "feminine" because of the fact that women do it the most. Such as body cleanliness, taking care of themselves physically, and investing in their appearance. Men normally don't do this and the ones who do are predominantly gay and truly effeminate in the correct sense of the word.

So, when women say they are attracted to feminine men in the physical sense they mean men who take care of themselves, who stay clean, who invest in their appearance through skincare, exercise, grooming, and nice clothes that accentuate the male form etc. Men like this. And not this.
