Many women aren't attracted to other women. And there are many many more straight men than there are gay women so bisexual women might have an easier time finding a man to date than a woman in many areas.

Although women have more fluid sexuality, most of them are still not attracted to their own gender. There are far more bi women than men, but they still don't outweigh heterosexual ones.

And, well, I'm bi and I married a man. The thing is that I've never "chosen" to date exclusively men or women, it just happened this way, but I was open to date people of any gender. I think the ratio is the most important factor here. There are far more interested men than women, plus, I live in Russia and both people and laws are highly homophobic here, so most queer people prefer not to out themselves. When a girl approached me, I was already dating my husband and I'm a person who believes in committed faithful relationships, so I rejected her as politely as I could.

An important note to make is that I've vetted well and was really picky. I refused to date almost all people that have ever been interested in me with the exception for my husband. And he provided everything I want in romantic relationships (and, of course, it's reciprocated), so it's not that I have any kind issues with him.

There are probably more women who want to fool around with a girl than there are women who want to seriously date a girl.

Women might be kinda bi when it comes to sex, but they're much more straight when it comes to romance. It's not as validating or exciting when a woman wants a relationship with you. Everyone knows women like relationships. What's exciting is when a guy loves you so much that he's willing to do something he wouldn't normally be interested in

I think I'm a 0 on the Kinsey scale or as close as it's possible to be. I'm not remotely attracted to women and the thought of getting all up in someone else's vagina grosses me out. I don't even like putting my finger in my own.

So that's obviously a major reason. Aside from that, I like men. I like their energy and the way their bodies feel, I like their sense of humor, I like their aggressiveness. I like sharing my home with a man.

Also, I want biological children.

Plus, frankly, my family is homophobic. I think even if I were attracted to women I'd have a hard time dating them for this reason.

If for some reason my husband died or we got divorced or something, I might like to live with a female friend and help each other raise kids, split bills etc. But nothing about being sexual or romantic with a woman appeals to me.

The claim that women have more fluid sexuality is kinda bullshit itself tbh. Women are less ashamed of homosexuality bc there's less shame unlike gay men so they're more willing to experiment but most who experiment just find out they're not really into it. Sure lesbians and bi women exist but being bi is trendy now so lots of women claim it but really aren't.

Masculinity is sexy - I am only romantically attracted to masculine men. There’s just something ineffable about the way men are that you can’t find in women, even masculine women. They smell different, they act different, they touch you differently. I’d take a man 10 times out of 10 if you gave me the choice.

I'm not sexually attracted to women, and I'm not sexually attracted to feminine behaviour. the very few women I felt some type of attraction/but more like fascination for are very masculine women/trans men but I am still kinda repulsed by being physically with a woman. I get along well with women in general but I don't want that dynamic in a romantic relationship.

I also like men, I like their masculinity and I like male bodies. I find the female body on average more aesthetic than the male one but I'm still attracted to men exclusively. so the benefits of dating men rather than women are pretty clear to me.

Bro, it's not that different. Men provide all these too. Some women hit hard and some don't at all, just like men. Go with whatever feels good and right. It's not complex. You don't plan these things out. Women are different and diverse. Being with an ESTP or ESFJ woman is different from an XNFP or xNTx woman.

Sometimes you just fall in love and be like that. Male or female.

I know I am an FDSer and we’re known for complaining about men but I would date a man 100x faster than I would ever consider a woman.

I have a multitude of reasons but I appreciate how low maintenance are both emotionally and generally speaking. I know if i am dating a man, he won’t make a big deal out of a forgotten birthday as long as I fuck his brains out and briefly act apologetic, I know he won’t expect an expensive gift because most men I know tend to be less materialistic.

Oh and the DV rate in lesbian relationships makes me happy to be straight — I am a little crazy but thankfully men can keep their cool and are happy with make up sex. Men are simple, women are not, I’d be an incel if I tried to understand women like myself in the SMP.

It's a numbers game.

As this Slate article noted, most bisexuals end up partnered with people of the opposite sex.

The massive 2013 Pew Research LGBT Survey found 84 percent of self-identified bisexuals in committed relationships have a partner of the opposite sex, while only 9 percent are in same-sex relationships.

And bisexuals are people who are openly and more resolutely attracted to both sexes, not just "Kinsey scale 2 kinda-attracted-to-ladies" women.

Why? Partly because being openly homosexual in 2021 in the United States is still not completely safe and accepted.

Polls have revealed that while most people believe LGBTQ people make up a full 23 percent of the population, but the number is actually closer to a scant 3.8 percent. I would love to and even though I think I am 99% straight, I think I am more likely to find that 1% woman that i can live a happy and healthy life with than to find a man I can do that with because men and women are socialized to be so different right now. I basically have nothing in common with men.

Well I'm bi, and I've answered this question 4 million times already, but there are far more straight/bi men than lesbian/bi women so it's a numbers game. You're just more likely to meet a guy.

Just because someone's sexuality is a bit more fluid doesn't necessarily mean they swing enough that way to be fully attracted to a woman. People can't choose who we find attractive or who we love. Also, it's still not overly accepted in a lot of places to be in a same sex relationship.

Think of it like this: you have plenty older gay men who married women because it wasn't acceptable to date men. They're probably good friends in a lot of cases and generally most couples of this nature had a fairly pleasant relationship. But it isn't the same as a relationship where you're both really into each other. And in many cases where the guy eventually admits he's gay and this isn't fulfilling for him there's hurt and heartbreak. It would be the same if women just forced themselves to date women they don't fancy/aren't in love with.

I've struggled making friends with women since I was 14 and got badly bullied by a friend and her cousin (and her family) on a holiday. I guess I just lost trust. When I do have a crush on a girl I have a hard time speaking, also I'd have no idea how to do lesbian sex or what my role will be. I feel more comfortable around male crushes, even when I was falling for my fiance I could at least talk to him. Also our roles are way more clear, he's in charge and when kids are involved he's going to be the breadwinner. He takes on the dominant role generally speaking.

I think chicks scissoring each other accounts for the stats that women have more sex than men. I don't think the studies specify if it is sex with a male instead of another girl. And yes many chicks will fuck other chicks, maybe not full blown lesbos but sure.

There are a lot more straight men than (openly) gay/bi women, and I find it nearly impossible to tell if a woman is being friendly or flirting with me. That’s about it for me, personally. That and the fact that a lot of family relationships would be ruined if I brought home a woman, sadly. Which is why I think there are a lot of bi/heteroflexible women who mostly or exclusively date men. It’s a vicious cycle. Now if I fell in love with a woman would any of that stop me? Nope. But this is why I haven’t seriously dated one so far and why I think a lot of women don’t.

imo the "more-fluid" women thing is probably because its seen as cute and silly for a girl to kiss another girl on the cheek. so they are more likely to do it. plus it gives social validation that shes "open" and a "protected class". basically more clout lol.
