I had a guy once tell me I didn't look that great today. This was on Snapchat and when I wish I could say was a long time ago. I was angry and responded that it was really hurtful. You know just trying to cOmMuNiCaTe. He then got mad at me for saying that and made the whole thing about him and how he should me able to tell things to me without me taking it badly. I had a male colleague tell me that I looked like an unflattering cartoon character, which was irritating but he was a dumb frat boy and we had to work together so I lightly told him off nd moved on.

Months later he suggested we get lunch after work because it was our last day working together and I agreed. I expected it was going to be a fun, after-work de-stress type meal but halfway through (yes I’m slow on the uptake) I realized he meant it to be a date..
