I was watching a dating advice video a few months ago. It was a gay man (if that matters) giving advice to women on how to keep relationships, I guess? His advice was that your partner should never feel " left out" or "unfulfilled" sexually. sigh Men wouldn't make any rules for sex if it weren't for the violent institution called patriarchy the males of this species desperately maintain since centuries. Males offer and court. Females choose the best fit. Human sexuality in particular (like other higher developed species) favors quality over quantity when it comes to reproduction. Human females have to be particular picky when choosing their mate. Further, those countries where women aren't denied their biological purpose (that much) are the highest developed countries. Why do you think that's the case? Men's biological purpose is to make the best fit for the woman they deem as best fit. And it's up to said women to accept or decline their offer. Men should be grateful to women for making choices they can't make themselves. If a male seeks to stay in the gene pool his best chance is to enrich the female so she and their offspring have the highest chance to survive and stay fit. It doesn't end with fucking. Childrearing is part of this process.

I don't make the rules. Nature does. Nature isn't fair, to none of the sexes. Stop upholding perverse social structures.

So many people seem to believe this. When I was in high school we did a class on sex education, consent, etc and we had to organise cards with scenarios on them into categories: rape/unsure/not rape. One said “a man forcing his wife to have sex when she’s said no” a bunch of people put it into the “not rape” category. When asked to explain they said “but if you got married that’s what you signed up for. You have to do it.” These were teenagers and many of them were girls.

Larry King died in this year, 2021.

His talks show ran from 1985 -2010. Assuming this drivel is referencing the time slot of 9pm till 10pm the zenith of Larry King's career is around 1993, when he hosted a presidential debate between Al Gore (better known as a climate change advocate) and Ross Perot a billionaire tech magnate.

Always look at things in context, and who ultimately this is benefiting. This is a historic snap shot of the sexist drivel that was also around the Ronald Regan era of "Family Values." Which was focused around cis normative family values from the repressive era of the 1950s. This sexist drivel was aimed at women who weren't sold the "dream" of being married and some how seeing the soaring domestic violence patterns - that have very real ramifications for women today.
