But they need to raise all of their standards if they are going to hold men to a higher bar and they have a higher bar they need to hold themselves to. Having an ever increasing group of single, lonely men is bad for society. Men who feel left out, excluded become isolated, alienated and are prone to fall for extremist ideas. So you’re going to see more and more misogynistic behavior, violence and extremist groups taking advantage of this. Domestic terrorism will become more dangerous compared to foreign based.

A lot of men will simply give up and focus on their job/career/hobbies so you’ll see more ‘men’s only’ social clubs/activities.

More men will ‘check out of society’ and focus on themselves. That means long term society will have to adapt to increasing numbers of men and women living separate lives. Technology, home working, service industries will all focus on singles and less on partnered.

The marriage/birth rate will drop and that’s going to be disastrous in the long term for western societies.

The self help/personnel development industry will make billions teaching men the ‘soft skills’ they’re lacking.

A drop in marriage rates will mean a drop in tax revenue.

A majority of men and women will never marry and the result will be more single people than partnered. Society will become more fragmented, divided and they’ll be an epidemic of loneliness related illnesses. The have nots will become more bitter/alienated/hate from filled and social divisions will increase.

You only have to look back through history to see the consequences of what happens when you have too many single men. Expect to see more extremist and divisive politicians come to the for and exploit this.
A surplus of single men in the past was a advantage when going to war. It isn’t now. Societies don’t fight wars like we did centuries ago. Instead expect to see more self destructive behavior, more mental health problems, more anti women violence, more hi tech support solutions invented to ‘numb out’ those unfortunate single men.

Sex robots won’t replace women. They’ll become another choice like working out at the gym, going to the cinema, playing computer games etc. The prices will decrease and more men will have access to them with less social taboo concerning their widespread availability. Result.. men won’t need to compete for women, won’t pressurise women for sex and sex crimes will decrease.

More and more men will look elsewhere for a partner who doesn’t have the high standards of Western women. Expect to see more western men and catalogue brides.

Men who acquire the necessary skills will become more selective and the number of age gap relationships will increase. Men with the necessary skills will level up and marry younger woman. Women in their age group will continue to live their carefree single existences. They’ll be a surplus of unmarried/childless women and they’ll adopt more from abroad.

You’ll have generations of unmarried, highly educated and childless women. If they’re happy and contented with that then fair enough. I’m all for women getting what they want… except eventually Mother Nature will remind them of their maternal instinct. You’ll see an increasing number of women opting for fertility treatment/ artificial insemination to have a kid and they’ll grow up with only one parent… no worries you might have a new growth industry ‘rent a dad.’ Other women will simply enjoy their freedom to not have kids and live life to the max.. and why not. More and more single men will be doing the same….. except one day when they’re 50/60/70 they’ll see little kids playing in the park and happy families with lots of offspring and then it’ll hit them. You cannot simply suppress/ignore a biological evolutionary instinct. At some point whether that’s at 30, or 50, or 70 it will remind you.

All the above sounds scary for future societies.

However, the solution is simple… both men and women need to change their mindsets and see dating/relationships not as a competition but as a meeting of shared interests. People need to become more human, more empathetic, understanding and less focused on personal interest and ‘winning’ a partner.

Humans are social animals. You can’t just redesign society after hundreds of thousands of years of human evolution without it causing long term damage.

Most of us have had that boss who doesn't really have any complaints or constructive criticism when it comes to annual review time but they're supposed to find something you can improve on so basically it comes down to "more". I got divorced a year ago after finding my ex was sleeping around. At 30 years old, I downloaded those dating apps to try and meet someone and noticed very quickly that most women 21-35 are toxic as fuck and just looking for someone that can solve their problems while they bring nothing to the table.

I've stepped away from it altogether. No dating and I won't risk hookups either. I'm just focusing on myself and my career, then when I'm ready for a relationship I'll talk to women from other countries. American women are not a smart choice these days.

Single motherhood has shot up in the last 20 years, with a lot of men fighting for their kids in court. Which means the primary care giver of boys is women.

The vast majority of teachers, from nursery - high school are female as teaching is a female dominant industry.

We need to stand up and start fighting for more support for fathers in either divorces or single parent households! I was lucky as I had my Grandfather who taught me emotional maturity. I also feel therapy should be given to boys from high school upwards. This way they can learn that expressing their emotions to someone is a healthy thing! Imagine a young boy, he sees his mom constantly vilify and degrade men online, saying men are trash, all men should die. And how cold she might be towards her son who wants to express his feelings.

For what it's worth, anyone who has trouble finding dates using apps: don't despair. Dating apps aren't designed to get you a date. They're designed to keep you using the app, ideally purchasing a subscription or other product.

Any business claiming to find you the partner of your dreams, or any partner is working against their goals by providing you with what you are actually looking for. Why would you keep using a dating app when you've found your partner? Why spend more money and time on the app?

So many dating apps will provide you dating pools where the likelihood of getting matches is incredibly slim, and keep you interested by dangling carrots in front of your face.

Why is it always "men need to do this or that"? Seems a little biased and selfish if you ask me! As a woman, I say we as women should be doing more to help lift the burden off of men.
