1: Personality

Arrogant, self-centred, misogynistic/racist/homophobic/transphobic. Being a dick just for the sake of it. Unable to express emotions in a healthy way (I love emotions, tell me you’re mad! If you punch a wall I’m out tho). Lazy with house Maintenance (mess is ok filth is not). Manipulative. No sense of humour. No interest in learning. Hateful and/or spiteful. Machismo bullshit. Doesn’t know how to cook anything and refuses to learn (apply that to housework too). Never apologies. Not willing to compromise. Elitist mindset. Cruel. Condescending. Disloyal. Shallow. Unsupportive.

Doesn’t like hugs is a big one I love cuddles.

2: Looks

Gym bros (I’m sorry I’m just not attracted to super muscly men. Muscles are impressive but not attractive to me). Poor hygiene. Really REALLY trashy tattoos. Bad teeth? Like the shape can be anything but at least brush em. I don’t really care about height or fitness levels provided they go on a walk like once a day for 30 mins or something. Face wise….look I’ve met men who I thought weren’t attractive and then their personality was so great I ended up being super attracted to them so I’m gonna draw the line at the most unfortunate 15% of men I guess would never have a single chance?

3: Career

Cops, stock bros, criminal activity. People have shit jobs sometimes, as long as he has other passions and interest to fill his time idc. Just be able to support yourself and have interests and hobbies.

4: Lifestyle

Intense partying, intense gaming (more than 2/2.5 hours a night is worrying) workaholic, gym bro (again sorry not for me I like exercise but not THAT much) super money focussed/grind focussed not interested in life and trying new things….

Look i have simple tastes. I like people who make me laugh, who get excited about little shit, who learn new things. People with passions and interests. People who don’t screw over other people, stand up for what they believe in, who introduce me to new things and let me introduce them to new things. People who let me be goofy and weird without judging me, who call me out when I’m being shitty and appreciate me calling them out too. People who apologise when they’ve done the wrong thing and work to be better.

Jobs, money, even looks to an extent matter less than compatible values and how much fun we have. I’m lucky because I found my person ages ago and we’re happy.

As to my dealbreakers - Arrogance, being self-absorbed, being mean to people just because you can, being shitty to animals, having zero ambition to do much of anything. I'm not interested in some dude trying to become a millionaire and someone talking about ''sigma grindset'' would make me roll my eyes, but I also have zero interest in someone who doesn't work at all or works a dead-end job and has no desire to get something better. Having zero curiosity about the world and not wanting to learn new things. Not wanting to try out new things. Being religious.

Drug and alcohol abuse is a big problem for me. Pretty much any extreme is a no-no for me, even with good things like ''eats healthy'' and ''goes to the gym regularly''. If those things are in the ''never even allows himself to look at anything unhealthy'' or ''is at the gym every single day for a few hours and his life revolves around his gym goals'' spectrum, that's a no from me.

Regarding looks, shorter than 5'6'' or taller than 6'4'' (and only if the guy is slim, very big and tall guys make me uncomfortable) is not for me. Ideally, I prefer someone around my height, so somewhere around 5'9''-5'10''. A fat guy doesn't do it for me either. Other than that, I can't say I have any particular dealbreakers about looks. Obviously, poor hygiene is there as well, but I think that's a dealbreaker for pretty much everyone.

- Looks: I don't think I have particular looks standards. Realistically there's probably some minimum threshold, but I'm not picky here. Not overweight, maybe not shorter than I am (and I'm 5'2), not unpleasant to look at. Of course, basic things as good hygiene and some semblance of style.

- Career: ideally not a blue-collar job. I don't want my partner to develop health issue from hard physical work. Income-wise a similar level is ideal, too lower or too higher is undesirable.

- Lifestyle: incompatible lifestyle. If they drink a lot, do drugs, party all the time, have different financial habits and are used to a different quality of life, want to have traditional division of labor or can't/don't want to share the load evenly or want me to be a SAHM, don't want to go out at all or can't spend a day at home, are into hunting, don't want to have more environmentally-friendly household etc.

I’m a Chinese American woman. I have tried and want to try as many crafts as I can, I aspire to buy 5-50 acres, build a Net Zero Passive House, have some chickens and rabbits, and a subsistence garden. I love cooking, foraging, fishing, and woodworking. I’m a licensed architect and architectural environmental sustainability consultant and a licensed tattooer.

Personality: chatty, but also knows what comfortable silence is. Thoughtful and active listener who remembers important details. Thoughtful in their thinking and when discussing. Critical thinking required. Sense of humor the drier the better, knows the world is a flaming ball of dog shit but just trying their best to have a good adventure. Actually has a personality. Emotionally available, understands how to process and regulate their emotions. Not afraid of therapy or psychiatric help. Challenges me when I do something not okay. If ADHD must have healthy coping skills and control their RSD. Relationship as equitable partnership, communicates needs, wants, concerns, objections, affirmations effectively. I like a little romantic gesture every now and then. Weekly dates or more. Share costs on activities if large income disparity splits expensive costs such as rent and car and travel by percentage. Looks: not really into facial hair. A fun sense of style, ideally second hand or homemade. Has to enjoy being active so we can hike, backpack, go to the gym, build chicken coops, etc. Must wear sunscreen and use separate shampoo and conditioner.
Career: just have one lol idc what it is as long as you like it. But your job can’t be your identity, it’s just how you make a living and you enjoy it as opposed to hating it, strong work life boundaries and balance are a must. Actually I take that back no careers in tourism, fossil fuels, defense contractors or subs, preferably not construction bc it’s just so deadly and dangerous, law enforcement too. Bonus points for working in ecology, conservation, low income residential architecture, food Justice, human centered design, teaching, professor, mental healthcare. Extra bonus points for geologist and paleontologist because those were my childhood dream jobs.
Lifestyle: knows how to cook, knows nutrition, knows how to keep clean, regularly goes to the doctor, dentist, and opthamalogist, pays bills on time, takes out the trash when it’s their turn, has own hobbies, also likes camping, hiking, fishing, volunteering in the community, has a good group of friends, minimal-no drinking, no vaping, no cigarettes.

I'll preface this by saying that I look at people holistically, so not breaking the deal doesn't make it either.

Be a good and kind person, be generally respectful unless you have actual reason not to be, have a decent degree of emotional intelligence, be at least halfway intelligent and someone I find enjoyable to talk to, don't be overly controlling, bossy or demanding.
Look somewhat normal (90%+ of faces fall into this category) and be a healthy weight.
Have some kind of career or reasonable plan if still in education, which includes planning to stay at home for a bit.
Be reasonably compatible with my own way of living and willing to do your share of household labour and pay your share of costs, have broadly similar long-term goals (marriage, no children, pets, travel, agreeing on the broad kind of place we want to live, etc), don't insist on taking masculine roles, be monogamous.

Laziness — red pill claims men are human doings, women are human beings. They are right in that that is what the opposite gender finds attractive. Laziness is the biggest boner killer. Besides that — victim mindset, over-aggressiveness, passivity, blandness. A sort of “we’ll see where life takes me” attitude is also annoying. On the other side of the spectrum, violence, lack of honor, anything that makes me afraid is a dealbreaker.
Under 5’7 and over 6’ is a no go. Round glasses (think fobby) is bleh. Unfortunately not attracted to certain races, not even sure I can be attracted to categories other than pan-Asian or pan-European. Other than that, I don’t really like the kpop delicate chin look, or the starving artist aesthetic.
I don’t think I’m attracted to blue collar professions. It’s just how I was raised. Financial illiteracy is also a turn off.
Bullheadedly atheist is a massive dealbreaker. I am Christian and at bare minimum, men need to be open to or curious about Christianity, if not Christian. Not wanting marriage or kids — nope. Conducting a chaotic life, not having a routine — nope. “I believe men and women are completely equal” = me having feminine tendencies is seen as an inconvenience, and at worst I’m going to have to go back to work a month after I have a child since “mEn and wOmEn have to work the same amount!” Self identifying as a feminist = nope. The men most compassionate to women’s issues don’t call themselves feminists. They just say they try to be decent human beings.

Personality: This one ticks me off the most. Low intelligence and lack of self-awareness, usually goes together. People say social skills don’t matter but I’d say it’s irritating as fuck to have to deal with someone who doesn’t understand social cues, overstays their welcome, gets their feelings hurt, acts like a neurotic 13 year old bitch. I dislike men who add complexity to my life and make me feel like I have to baby talk to them and overexplain myself.

For example, if I don’t want to get intimate on the first date, - and I don’t - I don’t want to hear “why? Explain! Why are you rejecting me? Probably rode Chads dick 😠”. This is socially awkward behavior.

Showing up in a Metallica t shirt and jeans to a restaurant is socially awkward too. If I go through the trouble of presenting myself a certain way I’d expect it back.

Telling me who I can and can’t talk to without being committed to me is so annoying, I think men get annoyed too when a girl - a practical stranger - has 0 grounds to impose restrictions on them and throws temper tantrums that he didn’t do x, y or z.

So, all of that is both unfuckable and undatable. It’s beneath contempt.

My dealbreakers are: too large of a difference in values, too busy with life to make time for me, abysmally poor hygiene, current dependency on drugs or alcohol, polyamory, having arguments or disagreements very very early in the dating process, sexual incompatibility, being religious, being homophobic or transphobic, racism, rigid expectations of gender roles being adhered to regardless of personal desire to do so, unwilling to seek medical help for serious mental health issues, treating me or other people with disrespect or cruelty…

That not in any way an exhaustive list, but it’s a start. My bar for physical attractiveness is very very low. Income is also not an issue for me. All I ask is that they are willing to contribute to a shared household in some meaningful way if we live together, and that doesn’t have to be through providing a source of income. It needs to feel like there is an equal partnership and not like I’m their mom.

Personality: antisocial, pessimistic, rude, inflexible/not understanding of multiple perspectives, unkind, inconsiderate Looks: nothing really significant. I prefer brunettes over blondes and dark eyes over light I guess. But nothing disqualifies a guy in general (bc im in a relationship tho I don’t really pay attn to other men anymore). 3. Idc about their career, I care about their passions and if they’re able to afford the lifestyle they want. We’re in college, no one’s expected to have a decent or steady income right now, ofc not. But having goals and aiming to do better for themselves is attractive. 4. Idk what this really means? I’d prefer someone laid back, not super religious or conservative by any means. Someone who values experience and growing together. I’d like someone who focuses on being kind and considerate of other people. Someone who emphasizes diversity and connections with other people for sure. I gravitate towards more chill men who are 420 friendly too (my bf smokes, best thing ever).

Honestly, I understand the constant questioning of what women want. I would say not to change yourself, but learn the best (passionate and/or comfortable/confident) aspects of yourself and how to showcase that. Women like to have what I call “the experience”. Use your uniqueness to date women who are really invested in who you are. Materialism just makes it harder for you to connect with someone. A woman that emphasizes that may go on to keep wanting more because they’re not connecting to the men they date on a level where they appreciate a man’s uniqueness. And that’s not always a bad thing, some people have casual relationships where they keep distance and it can be helpful and healthy.

But imo, relationships that last are built on trust and mutual respect. They love each other for who they are and not who they could be or who they’re not. Good relationships have a lot of friendship.

Even casual relationships are better with people who truly like each other even if there are no plans for a relationship.

I think (especially since men struggle with attraction and initial interactions) men should focus on truly bonding with women. Women are very social and having a good rep with one woman helps other women to be trusting and open with men.

Looks: Shorter than me, significant disfigurement, obesity, bad hygiene.

Career: Criminal, pilot/truck driver/anything that will have him away from home for significant amounts of time (especially overnights), professional athlete/actor/artist/anything that will get him women thowing themselves at him.

Personality - for an overview it's a dealbreaker if they are an elitist, conservative/centrist, ignorant, controlling, inconsiderate, violent temper, arrogant, lack social awareness, clingy, greedy, things of that nature
Looks - outright dealbreakers are rare but things like lack of hygiene and Habsburg jaw, hidden lips, pointed features, and the way their face and body are arranged (it depends on the composition and how they animate it)
Career - lines of work significantly contrary to my values would be dealbreakers (wouldn't date cops, landlords, oil lobbyists, union busters, crypto bros/gamblers, clergy, et cetera)
Lifestyle - Dealbreakers would be things like illegal drug use (totally okay if they fly up to Portland where it's legal for an experience though), doesn't clean up after themselves (if we share a space or if it's a sanitary issue when I visit that could make me sick/exposed to a lot of pests), keto or primal diet types, steroid users (unless for medical), must be childfree and marriagefree
