Does organised prostitution indeed prove that sexual intercourse is more important for gynophilic men than for androphilic women?

Throughout history, brothels are primarily thought of as places where men go to get rid of sexual tension, in order to be able to function without burdens in their everyday life. Thus I think society assumes that in general men have more sexual urges than women, are not supposed to control them without proper assistance and last but not least, there is a female minority with the necessary socialisation and capacity to help them while expressing empathy plus discretion.
