So I'm at this festival 3-4 summers ago, somehow this super cute girl sat on my lap in our Airbnb, she was playing with her phone and her boyfriend picture was on the background. I asked who was he and her eyes were glowing. Even though she was on my lap I believed in the love she had for him and didn't even try anything out of respect to this beautiful couple. My friend fucked her 15 mins after.

I have at least 10 stories like that on top of my head 4 of those I'm involved, in the same 4 days of the festival.

False accusations - witnessed this happen to someone in my college, followed by full on violence and physical threats, sabotaging and destroying of property, led to the guy killing himself. After which it was found out the accusation was admitted false in court.

Violence - never afraid of women’s violence but I’ve been physically assaulted by women/partners on more than one occasion and there was jack shit I could do about it. Punched, kicked, knives and plates hurled at me, even slashed my hand open with a pair of big ass German sewing scissors she was using as a knife threatening to kill herself.

Emotional manipulation/abuse - I’ve never been so confused and hurt as when women have tactfully used the most piercing words or slow-burn psychological torture on me to get their way. Dated a diagnosed BPD chick for a while and she stole my soul. I broke up with a girl once and the next day cops were at my door with a restraining order against me. The girl proceeded to break the restraining order herself, call and text me and leave voicemails, come to my house to try to lure me out, etc…for months. I didn’t respond and recorded everything and got a lawyer and she had to admit in court everything she wrote in the restraining order was made up - 6 pages of abuse she claimed, most of which was shit she did to me. And that could’ve been on my record had I not hired that lawyer and fought it.

Cheating - never officially been cheated on but I’ve had my suspicions. Have been the other guy unknowingly and knowingly before so know how eh it is to get a woman to cheat and how many put themselves in “oops” situations - ie drinking alone with a guy/ex

But mostly emotional stuff - I don’t trust women after my MANY experiences with them and having witnessed their Machiavellian nature. I only know two decent women - my sister and my mom - but even they have their own unique set of manipulation-based behavioral flaws that I can see right through. Fortunately they subscribe to more conservative values and sought stability in monogamy and not serially. They stuck with who they “loved” and unquestioningly pray to God sorta deal.

I’ve seen how easily a woman can go from head over heels in love with you to dropping you from her life like you never existed, ie when a certain image she has of you is shattered in a moment of weakness or vulnerability.

I think paying escorts and developing a regular relationship with them when you can afford it is actually more gratifying than 99% of relationships and doesn’t typically end in heartbreak.

I’ve seen more men destroyed by women or devastated by women’s behavior or leaving them than I have seen women hurt by men. And this is true in every demographic

Edit to add to all of this: I don’t like the nature of dating, relationships, and the dynamic it creates between a man and a woman - where typically men are expected to remain exciting, strong, attractive and fiscally sound at all times while all a woman needs to do is exist (and not be a bitch).

I dislike the often paradoxical nature of attraction and courting women - the games we usually need to play, which can unfold naturally and be fun at times, but perpetually “maintaining frame” as an introvert I find exhausting.

I’ve had more success with women when I was an arrogant, selfish, self-serving, drug addict and alcoholic than I have when sober, hitting the gym every day and being financially stable.

I dislike women’s expectations of me based on my physique/tattoos, believing that I’m a certain way and treating me like it (hypocritical I know, as I lay out the “all women are a certain way” shpeel) - I’m the type they want to hook up with but could never settle down with. I’ve been an alpha asshole slaying pussy like there’s no tomorrow, “spinning plates”, and forgetting names and I’ve been a head over heels beta drooling like a puppy dog for love and affection as it was slowly weaponized and used as a means for control. I’ve been the John with escorts and the guy escorts are friends with and so drugs with and share the truth on how they view John’s. And through every experience, at the end, all women were the same in my experience. You can game an escort into liking you the same way you can game a married woman into bed.

I’ve witnessed everything TRP talks about and more. I think most women are like children that you need to keep entertained who almost never face consequences for their shitty behavior - often the blame is placed on the men. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing like a woman looking up at you with piercing desire - but it’s exactly that which they crave perpetually and the moment that desire or spark is lost is typically the moment they slow fade or just up and vanish (usually with other suitors waiting in line). I don’t find women to be as capable of the love they moan about wanting & being unavailable, as the men who are able to offer this love & commitment.

I’ve had my heart broken too many times to really see the value in exposing myself that way again. Fuck around with women? Sure. Trust one is going to stay true to their word or expressions of love and commitment? Nah. My last relationship sealed the deal - she had convinced me all of my perceptions of women were wrong and I became “blue pill” and sure enough this is when everything I had over years with her unlearnt started to unfold and reveal her true nature - it was like watching a TRP story play out before my very eyes, one trope cascading after the next. It was an unwelcome slap in the face that I was correct beforehand and shouldn’t have let myself believe in the love that was showered on me until then. Women’s love is temporary. Perhaps all human love is temporary, but I’ve only been with women so I’ll stick with them. I think women are fickle play-things that like to be dominated and led through the world by exciting men - whether that’s an artist, drug addict, thug, or asshole doctor.

I don’t see the benefit outside of pussy in having to hold someone’s hand through life and remain the rock when they’re just constantly gushing, fluid, chameleons. I think women’s sexuality is far more perverse than men realize and consequently easier to exploit, which many men do. So we all kinda participate in this perpetuation of unfortunate actualities.

Man this all sound so bitter. Haha I’m not even bitter about it all, it’s just the nature of reality I’ve experienced and come to accept. I don’t mind being a hook up, though I wish I could’ve found “love” to be a real thing that leads to stability and starting a family rather than a passionate fever dream.

I don't let people get close. I think I had the realization today that I MYSELF am afraid of being vulnerable to a woman because of a couple of fucked up things that happened to me when I was younger and a unique issue I have (insecurity of my hand size as a man).

Women are hypergamous - there is no getting around it. I'd consider myself purple pill. I'd say I do not have trust issues per se. I accept their nature, but I would never fully yield, or give my full thoughts/views as I believe like most people, women would seek to do harm to you if you upset them - but via different ways. Or leave if they can't harm you i.e. you can't fully trust them or their word.

I do feel bad because the women in my life feel extremely close to me and believe the feeling is mutual but based on history and their views, with respect to my principles. I cannot bring myself to fully trust them.

Same applies to men, but we're talking to about women. Tho, as a guy, men will be a little more trusting (unless they have some psych issues) as most of the time because there's no societal conditioning to tell you men are the enemy.

Since some are comparing pre and post changes, I'll follow suit. When I was blue, I trusted women a lot more than I do now. Tbh, I'd have similar results but I was more disappointed as they would be the outcomes I'd prefer (not I expect a lot less, but ironically get the outcomes I would have wanted).

When I became more red (i.e. more purple), notably becoming more selfish and putting myself before them with my interactions with them and getting better with it as time went on, my interactions and results became exponentially better.

I guess if I have to nail one thing down, its whether they'd outwardly be honest with their intentions in a romantic context due to fear of judgement- and like many I've got stories too which make you dubious. At least with guys we'd shamelessly tell each other!

From women:

Strangers/coworkers, I always have either a witness I trust or a recording device when interacting with them. I have seen what can happen in case of false accusations. A tiny effort and a significant return on investment.

My LTR partner: I have a vasectomy so I don't have kids unless I want to have them and I create an incentive structure that makes sure that the only way she gets to benefit from me is if she stays in the relationship. Both small efforts with significant returns on investment.

Men: Just keep my eyes open and have a plan of attack/escape. If I enter into a place, the first things I look for are exits and useful elements. Either to defend myself, to cause harm or to produce noise/call for help. Another case of a small effort for a significant return on investment. I don't carry guns/tasers/pepper spray with me, that could be a mistake. I practice martial arts so I am not without any mean of self defense.

But I don’t think I have trust issues, if you know a person well and understand them. Then you trust them to act according to your mental model of them. I have accurate models for men and women in my life and I rarely get surprised.

If I ever get surprised by their actions, even a small bit. I pursue it seriously to learn from it and ensure my mental model is updated with a true representation of who they are.

Trust issues are when you ought to trust someone but you are unable to.

When I was 18 and in a bar I went to get two drinks. As i rejoined my friends in a large circle I (apparently) accidentally bumped into a smallish girl behind me. She yelled at me.

Mike pence rule whenever it comes to any women i work with, i leave the doors open and never talk about anything other than work with them. When it comes to romance no means no and if I even think she's not into whether it be a conversation of intimacy I stop whatever I'm doing. I never pry and if she's doing something i don't like I let her know once i'm not comfortable. If it turns into in argument I drop it and soon after i break up with her. If she does something i don't like a second time once again I break up with her. No one can ever say i'm controlling of coercive, we have one opportunity to talk about things and then i'm done.

As for men we can talk or use violence. So I can fight like i've got something to lose or talk like i have something to lose

I don’t trust most of their intentions. When most of their standards revolve around things I can provide that they can exploit, I have a hard time believing they’re not after a meal ticket. Not to mention the emotional/mental manipulation and simultaneously playing the “damsel in distress/strong and independent” card whenever they see fit.
