'Coercion' is a bit click bait. But what I mean is that if you want high heterosexual pairing rates, and relationships that last, do you need significant economic incentives to bind women to men, and disincentives to remaining single?

Is female sexual selectivity so high that as we become more wealthy in absolute terms, and there is less 'need' to be with a man, women will increasingly choose to be single, timeshare more attractive men, and/or end relationships early when the tingles die? Can you get a 85%+ longterm pairing rate based just on women's sexual and companionship desire for men of roughly their own mate value rank?
