Having some preferences or standards for your partner’s past makes sense imv. I’m not into casual dating scene, so I’d prefer to date a partner who abstained from casual by choice too. By choice and according to their own views on sex and romance - not just because they didn’t have a chance.

Although, if I had to start dating again as a woman close to her 30s, I wouldn’t want to date a person with a total lack of experience either. Also, absolutely no “waiting till marriage”.

This discussion really boils down to some men being jealous and insecure that some women enjoy having sex while single.

According to PPD lore, some men can only have sex in relationships.

So they'll barrage, insult, and make up stories about the women who do have sex while single. They'll say these women are defective or can't be monogamous or will cheat. All so they can deal with the fact that they are unable to have sex while single.

i dont understand using n counts as a surrogate for some other personality trait. sure, if the only piece of information you can possibly know about someone is the n count, maybe you can try and draw some conclusions. but in reality, you probably have access to way better information to draw conclusions about personality.

High N-count is the reflection of one’s character and I believe it shows that someone not only engages in risky behavior but also might not make the smartest decisions emotionally dealing with the opposite gender. Getting that intimate with a high # of people is bound to leave some issues imo. I know the older (35+) blue pilled women here will tell me I am wrong and throw an insult but they never have any good arguments to convince me otherwise.

I just find it funny how the whole conversation around "body count" plays out. On one side, you've got people who care about it, and honestly, their reasons aren’t always as shallow as they’re made out to be. Sure, there are some who might be bitter because they’re struggling to get laid, but there are also people who genuinely see sex as something meaningful. Something tied deeply to emotional connection. For them, if someone’s been with a lot of different people, it can feel like it cheapens the bond they’re trying to build. And yeah, some guys just find high numbers off-putting or even straight-up gross. That might be harsh, but it's real for them.

Then you’ve got the other side. The people who don’t think it matters at all. Which is fine, but what gets me is how aggressively they try to defend casual sex. They get so defensive that they start mocking anyone who disagrees, painting them as some sad, bitter incel who’s just mad he’s not getting laid. Their entire argument often boils down to “It’s my life, I’ll do what I want,” which is fair, but it also comes with this smug, dismissive attitude. It's like they can't imagine someone having a different view without being pathetic or controlling.

At the end of the day, both sides tend to oversimplify each other instead of actually listening. It’s not always insecurity or misogyny on one side, and it’s not always narcissism or moral decay on the other. People just have different values and boundaries but good luck finding that kind of nuance in a Reddit thread.

if men are insecure for wanting a low count woman, shouldn't the women also be considered insecure for not wanting virgin men, considering their main motivation (or at least the one more oftenly used as an excuse online) is that a virgin man is more likely to leave her to gain experience with other women? All the dudes in here are fighting a pointless war. The only n-count that matters for both genders is men when their n=0. Just look at all the threads in here about virgin men. Nobody has anything nice to say about them lol. Women are free to make whatever negative assumptions about them just off of this fact alone (he doesn't shower, he's probably an incel who hates women, he's a loser who lives in his mom's basement, etc.) and nobody says anything.

However, when it comes to women, all of a sudden you are not allowed to make any assumptions about their character just off of knowing their n-count. Now it's all about how you're insecure and misogynistic. Interesting double standard here.

And honestly I don't even think promiscuous women are doomed to fail at attracting long term relationship prospects. That just sounds like a classic incel revenge fantasy. Women these days largely have no issue dating upwards if they want to. Plus, people usually pair off with like-minded individuals anyways.

I subscribe to the “don’t ask, don’t tell” philosophy. I expect women my age (almost 40) have had as many partners as they have had birthdays, but I don’t ask. And they don’t need to know I’ve been with over 100 escorts.

the last n count weekly thread just gave me a revelation that explains how differently men and women view frequent casual sex.

While women revel in admitting that the men they hooked up with are more attractive to them than the men they consider LTR's with. For men its the opposite. LTR women have to be more attractive than FWB's. In fact they seemed to admit that the women who were their FWB were ugly and not attractive to them at all, and they just used them and saw them as a glorified flesh light's, not caring much for their pleasure or about them at all. They only cared for the pleasure of women they actually thought were attractive and had a chance at an LTR.

So pretty much (+and throw in some of Schrödinger's wave function Ψ) -
qualifications for FWB and casual sex with women: have to be smoking hot, top 20 percentile.
qualifications for LTR for women: attraction can be slightly mitigated and negotiated.

qualifications for FWB and casual sex with men: none, nil, can be very ugly.
qualifications for LTR for men: standards and attraction start to apply.

This also greatly explains why men shudder in fear at the thought of a women putting out for some random guy she just met, as apposed to the one she's been dating for a while. And why women cant wrap their head around n-count preferences, they don't understand from men's view point.

This can further be supported when looking at men and women's broad dating issues. Men seem to have problems with the idea of being settled for. While women have issues with getting the guy their attracted to commit to them.

If this is true it explains a lot of the relationship, n-counts and sex dynamics of the present day. The attitudes are completely different and should be tackled separately.

Note: I think i might have saw hoe_math do a video on this. Also why does it seem like only purple pill men here are in relationships and can pull?

One guy asked my n count, I told him it was 27. He didn't believe it and asked again, I said it was 37. I kept adding 10 every time he kept asking. He wanted to judge me, so I kept giving him more and more material to do that.

People are allowed to disqualify their partners for any reason they want. I just find it absolutely tasteless how the judgement often comes from the same men who try to get in the pants of as many women they can, and I find it infuriating that I'm the one expected to make myself wife material to men who, by their own definition, aren't husband material.

When men sit across from women and ask them their N count you can just see that hamster wheel turning in his head thinking up how he's going to judge the poor girl.

In the end a high N count should never be reported to a man who thinks this is a really important factor for a long-term relationship. This is because it might be used to keep women from a mutually beneficial marriage and jeopardize her future.

A woman's N count should not include partners with only with only the following activities:

FIV
MOV
HJ's
TF's
Anything experimental

Let's take it a step further:

Her N count should not really include any intercourse partners she was with less than two months. Why? Someone that temporary in her life is often not someone she wants to remember.
Only serious relationships should really count in N count. Those are the ones that meant something.
