No sex on the first date, the three-date rule, etc. There are lots of these, do you have any and why?

I'm a guy and I have a three-date rule, if a prospective partner and myself have not had sex by the third date I drop them. The odds that they are into me and not just interested in getting taken out drops precipitously after date 3 in my experience. I used to have sex on the first date but I found that the risk/reward was not great, too many women take it badly versus the number that are willing.

Why these rules? I like sex a lot and I have sexual interests that are not really coachable, so I can't contemplate a relationship without checking if the sex is terrible or not. I also give off betabuxx vibes because I'm a nice guy (polite, soft-spoken, I hold doors open for people etc) and I work in a lucrative industry, so I meet a lot of bag-chasers and/or transactional daters.

It works decently well, I have had some short-term relationships off of OLD and since I essentially filter on quality of sex, I can't say I have had a mediocre sex partner in the past couple of years.
