Common men has always been slaves of their sexual urges. Testosterone is what moves them to reach for as much sex as possible. Women also have this urge but it is stronger in men because higher testosterone and less risk for the guy (no pregnancy). Even today, the only reason some men even talk to women at all is that urge.

Civilization used this urge men have to make men work, create and pay taxes. The only reason most men do not do the bare minimum for themselves is this urge. Even men who do strive for greatness only share their earnings with women for the chance of pussy or something else in return. Civilization compensated men with sex and they prosuced a surplus for it.

Prostitution existed in the past but even it required some resources and often some social shame was attaches to it. Porn made men free from all of that. Brain does not care it is not the real thing and many men do not care about children or family anyway.

Porn made unlovable men free from society manipulating them using their urges to get labor out of them. Women often shame men for it but honestly the privacy of porn make that shame mostly useless.

In a sense women are also more free from men persuing them for sex only, and many of them are often OK sharing top men anyway. Single moms are so common it is not a thing anymore.

Loneliness and depression in lonely men can also be treated using pills anyway, just as lonely older women do. So no need for genders to related as much anymore for dating purposes.

Only downside I see is that I don't think this is sustainable for more than a few decades. Still civilizations always fall and rise again.
