God I'm so sick of men just being the go to default for everything that's wrong with the world. So this issue of people having kids later in life has nothing to do with society?

With cost of living increasing while wages have stagnated? With it becoming harder and harder to become financially stable and responsible before choosing to have a child? Harder to afford to own your own home until later in life?

Does the fact that laws haven't changed and still favour women when it comes to divorce (especially when kids are in the picture) not have anything to do with men's reluctantance to gamble and choose to go down that route and to take that risk on their future potential happiness/quality of life?

A lot of Asian cultures also place a huge amount of importance on work (for both men and women) for some, so much so that they have no time free time for themselves to socialise and find a partner.

Men don't have a lot of good options.

We can get married and have kids, and risk a divorce where we never see the kids but still have to pay for them. This can lead to a life of long hours and hard work and not a lot else.

We can sleep around and party, but risk accusations.

Or, we can attempt to have long term romantic and sexual relationships that don't result in marriage or kids, and stay financially independent. Men who do this can get by on an easier job with fewer hours and have more leisure time, and still have a relationship that is a bit more casual in nature but still fairly safe.

Huh, that last one describes my relationship quite well.

This issue sadly is a result of feminism. This is a subset of women doing this to all women. Women are now being told to do well in school, specifically career based schooling. They do. They are told to do well in university and pick a good career. They do. They land jobs due to various elements, including a good resume on top of the gender quota, thanks to feminism. They work their way up the chain, dedicating all their time in this effort, but they discover a career has VAST amount of sacrifices and emptiness that men are traditionally accustomed to. Then they figure it's time to focus on fun things and work-life balance and some choose to start a family. But by now, they are 35 years old and their big expensive home is completely devoid of something. Then they are told this is also fine, and to disregard what science and doctors say about birthing at a later age.

This whole 'childish men' idea is simply some women's perceptions. "Why is he playing video games after his 9-5 work when I bust my ass 60 hours a week?" Yeah, you don't hear men saying this about women. Men just accept that work can sometimes prioritize higher than home life and that you can't have it all.

Why the fuck would a single young man want to settle down and have children when he's going to be looked down upon as the incompetent lesser half of the marriage, incapable of child care, and the disposable wallet of his blushing bride. He faces a higher chance of non-reciprocal domestic violence, a higher chance of workplace fatality (while mom takes a decade long break to raise children), and if their marriage falls apart (with divorce initiated by the wife in 70% of cases), he's unlikely to get custody and likely to pay child support with minimal visitation and be further shunned by social support systems.

There's no reason to consider being a father. Find some young people to mentor if you want to engage your paternal instincts. You'll be caring for people that'll actually appreciate you and won't jeopardize your future.

How about making marriage more acceptable for men ?

You know, at least make sure as long as we are loving and carrying parents, that we won't risk never seeing our little things again because our partner gets "bored" or wants to have "fun".

So, she ain't gonna mention other factors? Like, oh, I dunno, maybe more couples want to be child free for a longer time?.. Or that having kids is expensive as f*ck nowadays, and that if the parents separate, mem have a worse chance? And that is not counting other factors.
