Yeah, I'll admit I was unhealthily codependent, but when my wife had an affair and just moved away like the last ten years of our lives didn't happen at all (and we have two, very young kids) it broke me into a million pieces. Wrestling with the constant love and hate for the same person is like being killed and brought back to life over and over several times a day. It is torture. How can you all just let her go so easily? I understand that some marriages aren't as good, and people aren't as codependent as I was, but it seems like there should be more people screaming to God for their marriage back like I do. This pain is unimaginable.

If I can't have her then I won't ever truly be okay with anyone having her. If she thinks she can take what is mine and abuse my trust and love like she did, I will utterly destroy her to the bet of my ability. I don't understand you guys being at peace with this. I can't get there no matter what I try. I'm in therapy, I'm on medication, I have tried everything I can think of and yet I still want her gone. I can't forgive her for destroying our home and our kids' lives like this.
