I do believe attraction plays a huge role but another theory of mine is that they like the excitement. Think about it, when a man can get a lot of girls, but at the present the guy is with one girl, she will think that she outperformed many girls who she thinks is hotter than her. Theres a sense of achievement. The thought that youre out with your guy and a ton of girls want that guy too but he is YOUR guy, I believe that gives them a sense of achievement. It’s exciting to be with a hot guy who could have any girl but he choose you. Makes you feel special.

This is mainly based on feelings of the girl.

But after some time, the guy gets bored or something and he starts losing interest on her because yk he is a player. Then she starts seeing the guy pulling away, maybe he fucks her friends or any other girl. So now she is not special anymore. Her feelings are hurt. So the logical mind takes over and this is when she says,”i hate players”

She only hates players when he leaves her not when shes with her.

I think a good rule of practice is to not explicitly say things like “you’re the only one for me” or “no other woman matters”. You said you experience success when you convey that you have options.

That all stems from an abundance versus scarcity mindset. Abundance = “I can get other women easily.” Scarcity = “you’re the only one out there for me.”

You never want to forget that you have options, and you want to behave as such in the relationship, even if you’re not actively seeking or interacting with other potential partners.

You’re also not verbally saying to your partner, “I can get other girls, I don’t need you.” It’s really just a mindset.

Women want to feel like they’re getting a prize in you, a man that other women want. They don’t want to feel like they’re the ones settling for you, if that makes sense.

Edit 2: There’s another rule, “never say I love you first.” Basically, you want her to be the one saying, “you’re the only one for me,” before you ever say it.

Have you considered the possibility that perhaps you are going after a certain type of woman? There are plenty of women not like that.

On the other hand there is kind of an in-between. If I’m looking for a ONS then I don’t care of a guy thinks he’s a player or not. If I’m looking for a relationship then I don’t want someone who says they’re a player. But if he comes on too strong too quickly, that’s also a turn-off. Or sometimes I’m just not attracted to him - not because he said he’s a player or because he says he’s in love or whatever, just because the attraction isn’t there.

The players are usually confident guys of reasonably high social status who do not care what others think. You can have these traits and be a top bloke but this combo is often rare. What went say they want vs why they are biologically attracted to is different as it is for men, ie we mite say we want someone who has similar interests, is cute and is happy around us but we are choosing which girl to go talk to based on her looks.

See, women would prefer a guy who had a previous relationship as opposed to a guy who hasn't had one. Cuz that tells them he's more reliable and stable. These guys are preferred for long term relationships.
But then again women are attracted to the "bad boy". There are lots of factors. The fact that you've been with a lot of girls tells the girl you're preferred and 'hot', therefore she is more likely to be attracted to you. Then again, women want stable relationships and you being a 'player', is reason for doubt. Its honestly very complex.

I suck with dating unless I leave the US. I am 39 and am more social but I live in a college town so most girls will not be interested with that big of an age gap. Even when I meet a woman in her 30s on the rare occasion she still won't give me the time of day. Not all girls are like this. My girl cousins are not. They are really good girls, and are not attracted to players. But I think they are the exception. I think if you are attractive than you have an easier time. Looks play into this far more than women will admit. If you are like a 9 in looks of course you can pull women easily. If you are a 3 or 4 you will struggle no matter how good your personality is.
