Why just women? I don't like this brain development argument as we're all always growing and changing but men's brains develop slower if anything and nobody wants them to be preyed on either. I think people should be allowed to choose to date whoever they want over eighteen and non-related even if it's a huge mistake like an age gap relationship, but if you want to ban age gap relationships on apps surely you could just have a different app or section for younger people to pair up with each other (as they usually do anyway) rather than banning them from using apps completely.

Young people use dating apps to meet other young people.

Bears rarely attack unprovoked and are pretty easy to scare off by yelling and waving your arms around. From a purely safety perspective, men should choose the bear as well. If the question were "alone in a swamp with a man or a hippo" I'd choose the man, because hippos are actually vicious.

No one should be allowed to get married before 25, though. I stand by that one.

Ah, see, women don't know if it's an average joe or Robert Pickton when it comes to men traversing alone in the woods. However, on dating apps most women get a feel for a guy and if the guy gives off red flags, they bail if they aren't stupid. Otherwise, women typically meet their dates in rather public places where it's fairly safe.

I have a question though. If we're so intent on banning people from apps, why would we ban the victims of horrendous crimes instead of the people that are committing them?

I’m biased but at 18 I got with someone who was 30+. Years later I wouldn’t have done such a thing but I’m VERY LUCKY he’s a decent man.

The argument of women shouldn’t date older men is because men who seek out young women have shown to only what one thing out of these young women. Sex, power, or self satisfaction. Not all but enough it’s a problem.

The issue of you using the bear vs man thing is you’re automatically making the bear into the worst case scenario but saying “average joe”. Either make them both worst case or neither because most women are saying “killer bear or killer man” and then choosing bear They’re not saying every man is a potential, they’re saying the worst a man could be is a rapist.
