Majority of men never get successful - they pretty much copy their social class or in rare cases move up one level, actually women climb the ladder more often nowadays. So the safest assumption is that guy will be the same as his parents, therefore they can totally invest in guy when they are young. Majority of women are not supermodels either - even if woman is slim, majority of women are just pretty short, average face, short legs, skin problems - they walk the streets unnoticed. Waiting at the finished line for millionaire makes as much of a sense as neckbeard saving himself for virgin princess.

While I can ses your reasoning and can be a genuine thing to fear. You should view it like stocks and investing. Buy in while you can because it will be way more expensive when the stocks rise.

For example. I was ugly growing up. I had a glow up and women that rejected me prior tried to get me at my finish line. But by then my standards has increased massively to the point I wouldn't date them even if you paid me. What women forget you still need to keep developing yourself even if you choose a potential winner. It's not a one time purchase but a purchase you need to maintain.

Not to mention by buying young when he hasn't made it. You massively increase your chances when he makes its cause he knows you will stick around unlike these other girls who waited at the finish line which means he will trust them less.

Nothing is guaranteed in either life or love.

i dont think a majority of average men will turn out to be like this. i want to judge guys based on their morals, if he seems like someone who will eventually creep on younger women when we are in our 30s, i wont be with him.

and as a young woman i will not go for "male models, multi millionaires, professional athletes" because not only are there not enough for them to go around for all young women, but because im attracted to regular guys my age who i can get along with and be loyal to.

also if ur advice is to go for the "most desirable men" arent they way more likely to leave us for younger women when were older?? what the hell do we do from there? i think the average guy is way less likely to do that

By your logic waiting at the finish line means dating men that are in their 30s while they are in their 20s. A lot of women are already doing that but a lot also don't want to do that and instead want to date close to their own age.

I agree with the overall point, but not the generalization. The type of man you describe is not really one I'd want to date. But I agree with the sentiment that no one, regardless of age or gender, should waste time on people they aren't actually attracted to.

You're not choosing them, they're choosing you. And the chances of a man of that calibre putting a ring on your finger and following through with it is slim to none unless you're exceptionally attractive.

No man is choosing a mid/ugly 20 year old over a hot 30 year old (assuming their personalities are within the same ballpark).

You do realize that they have hundreds of 10/10 women knocking on their doors. I follow the NBA and even middling non star players have girls hitting on them at every city hoping for not even for an LTR but being a baby mama. Girls that choose this path have a very high risk of wasting their youth being a side piece or a dumpster for these guys.

And how do you hope to meet these high value finished product men? Most men will choose woman from a social circle they are a part of for LTR. How are 20 year old girls going to meet (and vet, there are a lot of men selling appearance of success) these so called high value guys.

Even Elin Nordegren (Tiger Woods' former wife) was a daughter of his friend. High value men rarely wife girls well outside their circle. ONS and groupie, yes but LTR is another matter.

For potential, young women studying at uni have ample opportunities meeting future lawyers/doctors as their peers.

At one point most girls will have a choice between, say a ready made 6/10 man or a potential 8/10 younger guy.

A more sensible advice for young women would be not to waste their youth. Seek partner when they are young and warn that wasting them (e.g. to pursue career) might come with consequences (this is what older female family members usual advice for their younger female relatives).

What is “everything”? Why would you be giving everything to a man in your 20’s? In your 20’s you can be in one or more relationships, but you work on yourself first, and if possible, grow together.

Even if I divorced my husband today, who I met when I was 19, I would still be happy with who I am and would be optimistic about the future because of what I built for my life.

And lastly, there are plenty of good, kind men that don’t do what you’re describing.

This is one of my biggest disagreements with TRP and certain masculinity types who peddle this (often to make normal guys insecure) because the premise is just not true. It sounds like something that might be true because most middle class and poor men genuinely do not care about a woman’s socioeconomic background, but if you ever spend time in circles of wealthy people you would realize how not true it is.

The idea that attractive women (unless we are talking model or actress tier levels of attractiveness) can easily attract multi millionaires is absurd. Most wealthy men come from wealthy families (especially as social mobility keeps deteriorating), and they date women who also come from wealthy families; maybe they will date a woman who is one step below in terms of socioeconomic background, but they aren’t dating the Starbucks barista (as the internet meme goes) no matter how attractive she is. The average rich guy isn’t dating neither the Starbucks barista nor the girlboss corporate career woman - he’s dating the woman who also comes from a wealthy family.

Self-made millionaires (like professional athletes) might be different, but even then: a) there aren’t that many of them, there’re many more attractive women than those kinds of guys; b) more often, the women they date who come from “normal” backgrounds are women they’ve known since before they were rich.

The idea that an attractive woman can just open up Instagram or Tinder and find a multimillionaire to marry is something that only a person who has never hanged out with wealthy people would buy into. I’m not saying it doesn’t happens, but the chances are pretty low - most likely, an attractive woman manages to climb one step of the ladder (if she’s middle class, she might marry into the upper-middle or lower-upper class), but she’s not marrying an F500 CEO or Yankees player anytime soon.

Women, while maybe socially desirable at 22, aren't all stunning goddesses either. I am currently 44 and sexually active and attending a university for my last semester of a mid-career change (double master of engineering).

A huge number of the 22 year old women are.... just kinda okay. And this includes a lot of rich women at a T-20 school. I mean, yeah, mostly firm boobs I guess. But like, face, body, the whole package. You'd find many 35 year olds just as attractive and a few 40 somethings, having grown into life a bit more and walking better, talking better, doing better style.

Most 22 year olds lack a lot of confidence. And when they're "sassy confident" you just want be like, "Hey kid you don't have to do this. This isn't a tik-tok monetized channel or something. Just be cool."

As a man, I do agree. Women shouldn't go through this route. They generally chose a broke good looking guy. Either he stay that way and make her life miserable or he become successful and ditch her

This kind of scenario only works if there is a deep enought connexion but in general young people are more superficial due to their lack of experience and guidance

Good advice, if only we all were good at taking good advice in our youth. We're stupid without our life experience, and we do make mistakes and disregard good advice because we believe we know better at our ripe age of 20 years old. This is inevitable. And then, in hindsight, and especially hearing other young people not having done the same mistake you made back in our youth, we're pretty much shamed into believing we had no excuse for not making that mistake.

Dear young people, guys and gals - you will make mistakes, some of them life-altering. The best thing you can do for yourselves is to learn to bounce back, minimize further damage, and keep on living.
