I don't even do any of those tactics (except for acting flakey, but that's a personality flaw and not a deliberate strategy on my part) but like, I'm pretty sure they probably work on certain types of women.

I think a lot of these are also popular because being mean to women has a feedback loop in your brain that makes you care about them less as people, and caring about women less makes rejection less scary, and not being afraid of rejection makes you more confident, and being confident is attractive.

If all all and every "tactics" were useless then redpill would not exist. Problem is that those works on very specific subset of women that aren't good for you. Which creates self-reinforcing cycle. Basic red pill stuff about respecting yourself is actually good up to the point where they reduce attractiveness to physical shape.

You have used negative terminology to describe neutral behaviors that have absolutely improved people’s luck in dating.

Being flakey is one way to describe just being secure or stoic. Not constant texting and looking for validation and confirmation.

Negging is one way to describe playful teasing which is an extremely effective way of initiating a romantic connection.

Multidating? Isn’t that just…. Being single?

Any normal behavior can be spun to sound negative. However if it’s such awful, negative behavior… why does it seem to work so well?

I don't know about this one. One can probably be too flakey but I've only seen being too available turn out as detrimental.
I personally don't like how much multidating is normalized but both genders engage in it. Hell I'd say women do it more cause there's more guys available to date.
I agree with this one. I'm not sure if negging ever worked but even if it did, women are wise to it now and don't fall for it.
Also agree with this one. It can't really improve your relationship at all. It just reeks of insecurity and also has the potential to make you upset.

OK so at face value, I can't disagree with any of the statements you've made outright. TRP is mostly fucked these days, but each of the points you've made does stem from OG RP principles, and there is DAMN good reason behind all of them. So buckle up and let me elaborate:

Instantly responding to her with long paragraphs complimenting her, blindly supporting her, and dropping whatever you're doing so you can attend to her emotions at any given moment is a WORSE strategy. Remember who TRP was designed for. They've NEVER tried pulling away for a day or two to reset a frame. They've NEVER been able to look at a notification of a text from a pretty girl and set the phone back down because they're busy. Sometimes... a guy NEEDS to switch up his approach. Maybe someday he'll find the healthy medium, but right now.. He needs to stop being such a try-hard nice guy. THAT'S where this advice originated.

This is a strange statement since somehow, some guys are able to date multiple women without turning any of them off. If what you're saying is true, then dating multiple women would be impossible. It's not. Sit with that for a moment. OK, now for the underlying principle: Abundance mentality, pre-selection, and social proof. The guy can spread his horniness among multiple women so he doesn't overwhelm one. He also won't be so hurt by rejection from one, and won't feel so desperate to get dates when he has other people on rotation. Women are also more attracted to men who other women are attracted to (this is mostly circular, but still... Logically, achieving this satisfies the requirement for being more attractive). Will this turn some women off? Sure. Does the guy care? Nope. That's the point. Plus, the girls who are turned off wouldn't have been a good fit for him anyway. Bullet dodged. You should be thanking TRP.

Same principle as your first point. Negging is a bit of a dick move, and often backfires if the guy is inexpirenced.

But again, let's look at the average dude's experience. He constantly agrees, constantly compliments, constantly accommodates. Women don't want that either.. in fact, the want it LESS than a dude who has the balls to hit her with a neg from time to time, even if it lands poorly. Both men and women PREFER a partner who can do some playful teasing/sarcasm from time to time. Some might be ok with more or less, but negging is a demonstration of social intelligence (or at least that's the intent haha). I get it, there are lots of examples (like your screenshot) of dudes attempting it and failing miserably. But there's also times when a few sprinkled in at the right moment do give a girl tingles.

Is borederline strawman of TRP (although I get it, no one speaks for TRP). I did a post about this about a month ago. The principle isn't that you should dig or demand details. It's also NOT that she has any OBLIGATION to perform the same favors for you. However, it is true that everyone treats people based on their level of respect, desire, and perceived value of the person they're interacting with. Therefore "she loved it with her ex, but won't do it with me" is an indicator that she feels differently about you than her ex. People volunteer information, and there are numerous ways to happen upon details about someone's sexual past without any intentional trying at all. Demanding equal or better treatment will get you nowhere. You cannot negotiate desire. However, this may be an indication that you should re-consider your level of investment in someone who clearly has demonstrated a differing level of investment in you.

If you're still reading, I'll close with this.

If someone is 50k in debt from credit cards, car payments, and other BS, they should simply only use credit cards for emergencies, spend less than they earn, and focus on paying off the highest interest loans first. That's logically the most efficient solution.

Dave Ramsey has a fucking empire he's build off of telling people to cut up credit cards and NEVER use them, pay off the lowest balance debts first (regardless of interest), and only spend cash money from envelopes that they've budgeted for expenses. This is NOT the most efficient way to pay off debt. But for a staggering number of americans who don't have natural money management skills, it's the most effective. That's what TRP is getting at.

Both TRP and Dave Ramsey are designed for a specific type of person with bad habits, and their programs are designed to get people OUT of the bad habits.

My wife started to value me and my contribution when I finally moved to other country (and I still live and work most of the time abroad). While we were together she was constantly devaluing me, complaining. Now she often tells how much she loves and misses me.

My first GF had verbal fights with me. One time I was helping her carry heavy luggage when she was moving. When she started to quarrel I just put the luggage on the ground and went away. She was very angry, but learned a lesson and changed her behavior.

When she was giving me a silent treatment for disliking a gift for b-day, I just returned a silent treatment.

It is not the way to "conquer women" and pose yourself as "alpha". I don't believe in this BS.

I think this is something of a straw man. The idea is you shouldn't display too much interest too soon. There's no need to flake, but there's no need to make it clear you are completely available, willing to bend your schedule to the breaking point in order to accommodate her.

i'm inclined to say it works on attracting some women, but it might not be the kind of woman they want a LTR with. i think any dating 'games' or strategies are pretty dumb and invite more issues than they solve. i highly dislike alot of red pill and traditional dating stuff, though. so obviously i am not the kind of person who these tactics really aim for and obviously when people attempt them it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Acting disinterested isn’t really about what she will think. It is mostly a tactic to avoid the man coming off as TOO interested, which is basically the death knell for any early courtship.

Multi-dating basically does the same thing. It stops the man from over-investing too early (something many men are prone to doing), thus preventing the man from shooting himself in the foot.

That’s all. It’s not complicated, and it is absolutely superior to devolving oneitis and smothering your newfound love interest with attention.

I think they can certainly work but you need social intelligence. I remember the first time a guy ‘negged’ me. He made me feel so bad I wanted to cry. Yea I definitely didn’t go out with him. I asked him why he said it and later admitted he was negging. I’ve accidentally ‘negged’ men, when I called them out on shit and wasn’t that into them. Then suddenly the simping began.

The truth is if they are the right person for you none of this shit should matter. The goal is not to pretend not to care, it’s to constantly ask yourself ‘do I have enough going on in my life right now that this is not the only valuable thing I have going on’. If that’s the case then you should probably diversify. Having your own life going on protects you, makes you attractive and interesting.

I always find them hilarious once you notice them. Because its like a standard Greek tragedy. Their fear of something causes them to do everything to prevent that fear from coming true and in the end what they fear comes true because of them trying to avoid that fate

Like so many of the things I end the relationship because they are too nonchalant or doing hot or cold. Or like doing cold reads versus askong me questions.

Like a lot of the tricks are like about keeping and maintaining interest so the woman doesn't end things.

But when you've dated as a woman a lot of the things like uncertainty or not complimenting etc. You end up noticing the pattern and knowing what type of man they are and you're able to be like "been there. Done that. Not again"

My biggest pet peeve is a lot of men... instead of asking questions will make a general assertive statement about you. And so you either agree and think, wow he knows me so well. Or you correct them and they get the information they want

Like "I bet as a kid you liked club penguin" if you did they get a brownie points. If you didn't you say, oh, actually I liked barbie.com or whatever. And they get the information they wanted either way

My issue with this is it shows they have a lack of curiosity for you. They are showing "i already know everything i need to know about you and thus have no desire to get to know you further"

Every event has a cause. Attraction happens for a reason. By better understanding what causes rapport and attraction one can increase their attractiveness to other people.

If you read red pill negging you will note it’s not just insulting women as you seem to think. Negging is throwing a woman’s shit test back at her rather than submitting to it. It’s a reaction to a negative action on the part of the woman.

Perhaps if you actually read some of the better books on what creates attraction, you’d have a more grounded perspective.

I think you misunderstand the red pill strat. I am not a red piller and prefer the radical honesty approach, but I can acknowledge the effectiveness of what they recommend. I'll refute all four points below.

It isn't about acting flakey, it is about making her not feel like the top priority. The idea is that the man has a good life that he enjoys and he isn't desperate. That is why he isn't always available for any day and won't rearrange his schedule for her. The idea is for it to cause the woman to try harder to fit into the man's great life. Red pill doesn't suggest cancelling on her. A red pill strat would be like never being available for the first time she suggests. Desperation is undesirable to nearly everyone and this implies he isn't desperate.

Multidating is actually encouraged in general, and not just a red pill strategy. It decreases the risk of building premature attachment to a dating partner which can blind us from incompatibilities. It allows us to learn more about ourselves and what we want, and decreases the chance of settling for a lot less than we should. Ideally the person should be very transparent about dating multiple people. The redpill spin to this strat is that it can cause women to feel the need to try harder since they know they are competing.

That example isn't negging. Negging is subtly lowering the other person's self-esteem to encourage the other person to try harder to get more praise and validation.

"I love how you don't feel the need to look perfect every day"
"You have too much makeup on, but you still look hot"
"I'm surprised you know that"
"You know a lot more than I would have guessed"
"That's cute you say you like doing cardio when all you do is spend a few minutes on the elliptical"

Negging is obnoxiously effective. I try to avoid it since I hate being manipulative, but I like to tease so it still happens sometimes.

The digging for info is just filtering so that is working as intended for red pill.

True. Having lots of close, female friends, I actually see this play out from the woman's side constantly. It never "works." The most likely outcome, by far, is that she gets offended or just apathetic.

However, it is probably difficult for the men to learn that lesson because... it's 2026 and most people are plenty flakey anyway. Moreover, most people know this and are thus more tolerant than, say, 10 years ago. Like, if you try this, and she sleeps with you, odds are it's just because she was always going to sleep with you and all you accomplished was making it take a couple days longer. And if she ghosts you, well, you tell yourself you're playing the numbers game anyways and you probably just weren't tall enough, or something.

This, in my experience, is rarely an issue. But that probably depends heavily on what type of women you like to date and the local (or even micro) culture you inhabit. Again, it's 2026: so many people do this, not as a tactic, but because that's just becoming the norm.

Negging, especially, is so transparent. Unlike the first two items, negging isn't something normal people naturally do. As such, it always reads as a manosphere tactic and red flag. Granted, there are some really stupid/naïve individuals out there it might work on; and there are some women, accustomed to manosphere behavior, who more or les accept this as just part of the mating ritual and don't mind. But in general, this is a terrible idea.

Its so strange women are all thriving for the most part, and men are ending up alone and miserable.

I know that as a transwoman if I was still looking for a partner it will be more difficult as I am primarily attracted to women, but I will still be able to have friendships and platonic relationships most importantly even before I could talk to women which so many red pillers seem to not even be able to do.
