Where do subs like TBP, niceguys, justneckbeardthings etc. fall on the punching up/punching down dichotomy?

There's a concept in social justice circles that ridicule can be considered moral or immoral primarily based on its target. Ridiculing the powerful is called "punching up", while ridiculing the powerless is "punching down"; what it comes down to is that making a joke (regardless of how gentle or harsh) about Donald Trump is acceptable, while making the same kind of joke about the homeless is cruel.

Bluepillers: assuming you sympathize with this idea at all, where would you put subreddits that make fun of "fat neckbeard losers who can't get laid"? On the one hand, they are mostly white males, and those are conventionally considered privileged, but on the other hand, isn't it just mocking men who are lonely and down on their luck? Like making fun of the nerd in school who has no friends?
