I'm 36. The 30s are a real sink or swim age for a lot of women. Some of them really get their shit together and become truly stellar human beings.

Most continue to be the same damaged 20 year olds, usually without the benefit of their young body/looks. And the rest just seem to become fat boring Karens years ahead of schedule.

It's like shopping at a flea market -- if you have an eye for it, you can get absolute steal at a huge discount. But you've got to wade through a lot of trash to get there.

Younger women disgusted the fuck out of me. I had to deal with them when I was younger but the first time I could get with a 30something woman I didn't hesitate. Of course a lot of women in that age group have phenomenal baggage so you gotta avoid them too.

I don't agree with men who chase younger women but I can understand why - they want someone with less emotional baggage. Problem with that emotional baggage is that the actual moral degeneracy that led to the baggage started back in their 20s with chasing chads. Younger women are terribly flighty, but then again equally so are these men who like younger women, and TRP is all about spinning plates - their "it's not the same thing" delusions don't hold up, it is indeed all the same thing. TRP men are the essence of flighty.

Well I think they either turn cool as shit or old age gets the best of them (they get insecure/bitter/whatever). The cool ones can be so goddamn cool though. They’re comfortable with themselves and don’t take things too seriously and it’s sort of really hot in a way. They just have this grace about them.

I also really notice the immaturity of younger girls now. Some of them can still be really cool but I don’t think I could date one.

I prefer to hang out with women my own age now (31) than I did in my early 20s, women my age now tend to be more laid back, comfortable with themselves and less shallow and bitchy with each other.

Dating is hit and miss, some girls over 30 have that desperation to settle down and race the biological clock to have a baby and struggle to let relationships naturally develop before prematurely jumping to that level.

But most girls I went to school with are easier to hang out with now and 90% haven't aged at all from their mid 20s. I've always figured people on here who talk about some mythical wall that hits women at 24 must come from towns and smaller cities where people tend to let themselves go and have kids from an early age. Personally that's not my experience.

Im 31. Current gf is 37. Much easier on me.

My last gf was early/mid 20s. She was/is a hot mess. Caused my first panic attack-high blood pressure.

What mindset am I in? If I'm not really in the mood to deal with people, and not giving any plus to that, but I'm horny, then a cute young thing seems ideal. If I'm more interested in connecting with a peer, and can see the path to really good sex that way, then I'm more inclined to someone my own age.
Did I know them back when? A good portion of the women on my facebook from high school are still basically recognizable as themselves. A couple declined, often due to kids and weight and the like, a couple weren't that noteworthy back then, but aged surprisingly well. And the rest just trigger an 'oh, that's what's-her-face' reaction. If I'm just meeting you, then I see you as your age, first and foremost. You've never been anything else to me, so how can't I?

That can be rough, but I feel more nowadays that it's both not ALL I'm looking for, and that I have some power to make it happen. I think I more worry about if I'm going to 'get in trouble' for it. For example, I tutor privately, and a few times there's been a cute college student I really wish it would have been okay for me to ask out, but the circumstances and society as it is, I couldn't risk it. And of course, the cute high school students there's really nothing but disaster awaiting if you are stupid enough to try and go there. Given the age 'advantage', I feel like it's more than plausible for me to seduce a younger woman in the right situation, but when are those situations going to arise? When am I alone with 18-year-olds in a setting where it's gonna be OK?

I'm about to turn 32. I have no problems dating a single woman around my age. My only question is, "How the fuck do I meet you?" I'm sure there are tons of amazing and compatible women out there, but I don't know where to go.

I rarely go to bars, so I find it unlikely that I'll find someone with similar interests in a place like that. OLD is a total shit show. "Singles" groups are like a 3:1 M:F ratio.

- I mostly do not find women my age attractive, unless they are of the rare kind that never had kids and take great care of themselves, stay thin etc.

- I rarely bother hitting on women my age, unless they are visible of the kind Im after. Getting younger, less experienced girls is significantly easier, and they are hotter as well so why bother?

- IMHO, women my age are the most miserable; they usually hit the Wall at that time, lose their attractiveness, have to manage small kids and/or early career stages, and are usually near their relationship decline. I feel bad for them, especially single moms, but not to the point of wanting to date them.

- Im completely fine with other men who chase younger women, I find it hilarious how badly we outcompete guys in their 20s. Most older men who chase younger women are "my kind of guys": driven, strong willed, take great care of themselves, hit the gym, ambitious and rich enough to afford cool hobbies. I actually find it more valuable and harder to find friends like these than young chicks to fuck.

Boring, in fact, really boring. Not all women in their 30s are super boring, but a ton of them are. It's like life stopped for them once they had a 30th birthday. Then there's the expectations. Having a relationship in your 30s becomes a list of, "I need to whens" instead of a, "Let's see where it goes" type of deal. This is my main gripe. I'd kill to meet a women in her 30s that shows up with a personality, cool hobbies and has her own life. Sure they're chill about stuff girls in their 20s go ape over, but there's a trade off.

I'm early 40s, and this is just my experience. Generally, I find childless women in their early to mid 30s to still be maturing A LOT, like in an extension of their 20s. I prefer the maturity of women in their 40s.

30+ y.o. women with kids tend to be more mature, but they usually have young kids. Again, I prefer women in their 40s because they usually have older kids which gives them more flexibility with dating.

I find more women in their upper 30s+ are out of shape, so finding one that's an average fitness is much more difficult. I don't even have a high standard when it comes to fitness level; just be average and have a controllable body fat level. 40s is even more difficult to find.

Another issue is money. All the ones I've dated pay their bills on time, but they aren't aggressive savers/investors because of lifestyle creep. I want to r/fire, so I prefer a woman who's more money conscious and planning for the future. That's almost impossible to find.

I'm fine with just casually dating on occasion and remaining single, honestly.

From what I can tell of single women, it seems like the middle chunk got taken in their 20's. So what's left is really high women who were too busy to settle down, or really low quality women who can't/won't settle down.

Not to say there isn't normal middle women but they're few and far between.

Initially most often seem like normal boring adults. Once you get to know them it's often easy to see why they aren't already snatched up.

I don't think they are a lot different than a lot of single men of that age but due to most of their adult lifetime of dating guys they think they deserve better.

I'd date in that range if I found someone on a similar level but typically my lifestyle matches better with younger women. I suppose I'll grow up one day and be more compatible with women of that age.

BMI spans these two categories, to some limited extent. There are a lot of 45-yr-old women who would look a lot better with just a little extra weight (they are so thin they look wizened).

However, the big thing is all the single mothers. It's perfectly natural: At this age, many women are mothers, and they are (almost) always single if they are looking to date. It's just a huge complication. Always. This one thing is what drives me to look for younger women.

Many of them no longer see relationship for love but are looking for provider/comfort and are on a schedule to get married so they don't feel left behind.

Jaded view of relationship and psychological scars that she will have from past failed relationship with men she truly want to be with; who wants to deal with passive aggressiveness for the sins of other men. In addition, things you do with her aren't going to be as exciting anymore because she did those with other men.
Expectations and being grateful. Women in their 30's tend to raise their standards on what gifts/presents, she will be impressed by. A girl in her 20's might be fine going out for some coffee or other low key dates. While a girl in her 30's expect more money to be thrown into dating scene to win her over as both of you are working adults.
Women have less collagen, and look older faster than men. They also tend to have higher fat percentage than men and overall women have more passive lifestyle compared to men. This means she is going to age faster than you more likely and have less of a window of being physically attractive than a woman in her early 20's. On the flip side, this could also be a good way to weed out which women can age gracefully with age, since the 30-40 yr mark many women just let themselves go.
By age 30, women lose 90% of the eggs that they were born with. By age 40, they have 3% eggs left. This is what drives the biological urge to have kids and get married for many woman. In addition, birth complication correlates with maternal age, as well as, case of autism for your child.
Physical baggage of possible kids. Many women in their 30's could very well have kids from past relationship and you as a guy have to deal with that as part of the relationship.

I would be way more picky though. The years between 18 and 28 are the most valuable asset any woman can bring into a relationship and I am more than willing to pay for those years even after they are spent.

Yeah I know I sound like an asshole and I am sure I am one. But youth (contained in those years) has value and is one of the main things I want to get from a relationship. A woman that does not have any youth to give is less valuable than a woman that does.

Unless the woman that doesn't have any youth to give already gave that youth to me, obviously. In that case the value of that woman skyrockets way above all women on earth and she would have to royally fuck up to lose that advantage.

If I couldn't get a younger woman, I would try to find someone to me in age who has made the right choices with their physical and mental wellbeing as the wheels have started to really fall off for folks who haven't taken care of themselves at this point.

I am in my early 30s and so is most of my social circle. Most of them (over 90%) are either married or in really LTRs.

As a side note, most of my social circle is made out of high income (for my country) individuals (both men and women), so neither of them entered a relationship for financial gain.

The biggest age difference I know is 7 years apart (men is 37, woman is 30) and both of them are really cool people.

Everyone is old enough to know better at this age. The people who just needed a little time and experience are generally cool by now, so there’s more stable, rational members than there is in folks in their teens or 20’s. They’ve been in the world force for at least a decade, should know how to be professional and tend to know what they actually want to do.

However, the people who aren’t capable of this by the time they’re in their 30’s are way less likely to ever get there, and it should be a glaringly obvious red flag. People who ignore these warning signs and date them anyway are signing up for a lot of hand-holding and care taking and “being the adult” in the relationship. Most of your contemporaries will not care that you’re suffering because you should know what to avoid by now.

44M here. Single women my age are pretty great actually. Almost all of them are single via divorce. There’s usually a couple of kids in the mix, anywhere from 5-20 years old.

These chicks have no time to waste on drama. They have their time to themselves when the kids are with dad and intend to make the most of it. There’s no childish FDS tactics or game playing. You’ll know exactly where you stand, and if you’re nice and fun and have your shit together, you’re gonna hit it off.

Big minefield: the ex-husband. If they parted amicably and have a 50-50 custody arrangement you’re all good. If there is acrimony and ongoing fights over the kids, or the money, or the house, there’s a high likelihood that she is gonna be stressed and unhappy a good amount of the time. May or may not be accompanied by financial distress and/or avoidant behavior like excessive drinking.

women in their 30s are pretty much the worst. around 30 is when they start getting really focused on serious relationships, settling down, getting married, having kids and all that shit before it's too late. and their expectations/ sense of entitlement is at an all time high even though they are well past their SMV peak.

some women in their later 30s aren't quite as neurotic and insane and annoying, i guess they realize that the whole get married and have kids ship has passed. but they are fucking GROSS to look at. 35+ women are well past the Wall and look like gross wrinkly grandmas. easy to fuck but ugh.

25-27 is the sweet spot IMHO. they're still optimistic and fun to be around and excited about life because they've really only just started their real lives post college, they're not stressing out about needing to get married and have kids ASAP. much more enjoyable to be around in general AND they're much more attractive than 30+. at this point i almost exclusively go after girls in the 25-27 age range because they're so much better quality than 30+ women.

I personally think most of them are trash (these are all women I know from in person too). They have multiple children from different men and complain they can't find a decent guy, some of them party hard in vegas to this day and post about it constantly on their social media while their kid/s are being taken care of by a family member or a babysitter (when they can afford it). I know several that do nothing but burn through their money and are trying to constantly hit up friends and family for help with their bills. In short, if I had to list every thing wrong with the ones I know that I go to great lengths in avoiding, I'd say they lack basic personal responsibility.

I don't have to reconcile the problem either, the area I live in, it's quite easy to find a younger woman to date that isn't saddled with kids. I thank whatever power there is in the universe for that fortune. Sadly, most of them are lacking in personal responsibility. They're at least more fun to interact with and don't nag as much but definitely like to suck up the attention. I'm interacting less and less even with those however, I just am no longer seeing much value in dating anymore.

I do not date women my own age either, never have and never will. They've all been at least 4 to 5 years younger and for good reason. There's no shame in men dating younger women.

I don't think of them. I have no ill will against them or anything like that. I'm sure they're no better or worse, than men their age. But I don't see them as sexual beings, or as potentials for relationships.

I steer clear of my own age bracket. 19 to 24 is optimal right now. Still fun and flirty. Late 20s thru 30s is nothing but 'tired of games' and other beta bux insanity.

im 37, so probably go for 30ish.

there are some women I would consider at my age, but they are very few. Plus Im a hell of a lot pickier now, too many overweight women and women with kids.

Plus as Im older now, not too fussed about marriage, probably prefer an LTR if it got serious.
