I ran across a Buzzfeed article about this woman on TikTok who’s saying it’s “crucial” to have sex on the first date. Her reasoning? Well, she had been on 10-15 dates with this guy and decided it was time to take it further. Beforehand she asked him if he had any kinks she should know about and he said no. They start having sex and he starts trying to dirty talk with stuff like “Yeah, yeah, you want me to get you pregnant? You want me to put a baby in you so everyone knows you're mine?!” and she felt like she wasted a ton of time on this dude who turned out to be gross. So, instead of trying to find a way to vet for that, she decides that the only way to keep from wasting time on a dude potentially hiding a gross kink is to just…sleep with him right from the get go.

You know, don’t even try to see if he’s a decent person, just throw caution to the wind and fuck em on the first date every time. What could possibly go wrong? What really disappoints me is that Buzzfeed made a whole article on it like it’s not a stupid and dangerous idea, and the comment section was full of people whining about kink/slut shaming. It’s not slut shaming to want women to have better vetting tactics than “I’ll immediately hop on his dick and, if none of the infinite bad things that can happen do, then he can have another date!” I’m disappointed and disgusted and I’m tired of “feminist/progressive” ideas that sound like they were written by incels.
