Oh my goodness, this one! I was telling my husband about this a couple of days ago and told him if someone did this to me I'd mace them. Then paused and clarified 'mace as in hit with a mace. Not spray with a can of mace' and he immediately went 'oh, I knew that's how you meant it already, don't worry.'

My worst ex, the last one, was always pissing me off over food. In fact, I dumped him over food eventually. We would get takeout chinese sometimes. One time he kept telling me his teriyaki chicken tasted off. Even made me taste it. He refused to eat it. So I asked him if I could take it to work and he said I could. So I did, but that night and every single night for a week he would ask me where his leftovers were and I would tell him what happened. He didn't seem mad, but hindsight told me he was being passive aggressive by constantly asking me because he wasn't stupid. Fast forward to the next takeout chinese night, like a month later, and he loudly proclaims DONT EAT MY LEFTOVERS! I CANT BELIEVE I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT! So I didn't, but a week later I went in his fridge and saw the leftovers untouched and actually growing mold. He'd rather waste food than let me have it.

I dumped him for sneaking in my house (duplex) and taking my son's school meals instead of eating the adult sized ones in the cabinet. When I told him a second time not to do it, he went on a whole ass rant about how my kid's food is more convenient and heating up a can was too much work. He probably still thinks I'm selfish to this day. I was on a budget. I never took his food. The kid's ones are expensive. I dumped him for that rant and moved tf out and never looked back. It was a long time coming.

I learned in my critical thinking Psychology class that common sense ain’t that common. This is just proper decorum. When family offers you to take food home, it is never the whole, just an extra plate lol. I can’t imagine being this stupid, who’s even attracted to these bozos?!

I remember this. It was so terrible. I really hope the post was fake. But, as someone who takes pride in cooking ... I have a fancy lasagna recipe I sometimes like to make and it can easily cost me upwards of $50+ if I'm using high end ingredients. It can also be incredibly time consuming. He said his GF made everything "from scratch", so I'm guessing it was a similar recipe. And, it sounds like she made a meal prep sized dish, not just a traditional 9x5 or something.

How much could a sandwich cost? Like $10 at most? I recall being in college, myself, and I'm going out on a limb here ... but I'd wager she just wanted something from Subway or someplace cheap. That's a small request in exchange for ten whole meals.

At the very minimum ten servings do not fit in a single casserole dish. Who the fuck takes multiples dishes from their college gf to their adult-af-parental home to eat without her? My parents would be weirded out if I did this or if my brother did. They'd be asking why she made us so much food for no good reason?! Reminds me of when my POS ex agreed to split a vet bill with me for our cat, and then refused to pay me his half after the appointment. I had no money for groceries because of it, and rather than buying the groceries that week to make up for it, he ate out every night and didn't bring back any for me despite the fact that we lived together. I remember the girls I worked with brought me lunch that week.

I'm so far removed from this version of my life I've largely forgotten about it, but damn. I'm feeling rage at 100% on behalf of this girl.
