This isn’t easy to admit as a man but I have to be real with myself for a change: a lot of the things TRP looks down on women for, men are just as as guilty of- especially hypergamy.

I’ve “branch swinged” more than a couple times and so have most of my buddies. It’s hard as fuck to be satisfied with less when there’s a possibility of having better. A girl can have everything- be doting, kind, smart, clean, talented- but if I sense that a hotter girl might be into me, I’m all but ready to drop her. It’s especially hard when I mess up and cheat with the hotter girl (this has only happened twice); then I’m not even attracted to the girl I’m with anymore. My friends and I had a conversation about this and they ALL could relate. We feel guilty about it but it’s hard as hell to shake the animal drive of wanting better.

It’s not only us either, men throughout history have left their wives for better or at least cheated. Dr. Seuss is the most potent example. I can relate to all of them. I know that this is seen as the worst part about female nature but I think it might just be nature.

Edit: Also, it’s almost impossible to be with an objectively plain/unattractive girl and not end up resenting her.
