This is one of their points that I don't agree with and even I, a cocaine fueled hardcore redpiller, knows that it's bullshit. The young low bodycount hot traditional/conservative/religious women with great character that they claim they want to wife up will never, not in a million years, be fine with this arrangement, even if you look like Henry Cavill and have hundreds of millions in the bank account. On the contrary, the promiscuous 304s of questionable character they claim they don't want are far more likely to be fine with this arrangement, assuming of course you rank high in the hierarchy whether it's looks or money/status or whatever. However, even in those cases, the divorce/break up is inevitable. Continuous cheating introduces a lot of unnecessary conflict in the relationships and the woman will either eventually divorce you(which means your wife, kids and a significant portion of your wealth will be gone for good) or she'll start cheating on you out of spite and you can't really stop her from doing it since if you're married she has you by the balls. This is why most high profile marriages with celebrities involved usually don't last long and end up in divorce. All these "HVM" probably try to do it and that's why they get divorced in 3-8 years, and only rarely you see them lasting for 20+ years.

The having one main chick and multiple side chicks strategy only might have more positives than negatives if you're not married and also ideally don't have kids with the woman. The stakes basically are low. Because even baby mamas will bail on you eventually, and while you might not lose your assets, now you'll have problems seeing and being involved with your kids. Also, kids that are raised by only a mother, especially a resentful one, have quite bad outcomes in life.

The tates, sartorial shooter, jwaller and all those guys who preach these things have baby mamas who used to be camgirls/of girls/escorts, basically not exactly desirable women, and they barely see or are involved with their kids, besides financial help. And if I were a betting man, I'd wager that all these baby mamas aren't fully faithful to them and are getting porked by some other dick on the side or have completely moved on to another man. Of course, these "HVM" won't ever tell you that because the grifting is profitable.

Women being able to cheat is just as “natural” as it for men. From a scientific standpoint, putting emotions aside, paternity fraud makes a lot of evolutionary sense, but it doesn’t benefit men therefore they deem it unnatural due to their own internal bias. I honestly think women are a little more promiscuous than people think. Without threats, oppression and coercion from religious institutions or society they will naturally take on more mates, which is what we’re seeing in the current era. If it was so natural men wouldn’t have to shove the notion of sexual purity down our throats every chance they got, it would simply come naturally.

There are some gender asymmetries here, but Fresh and Fit go too far. First of all, rarely is a one-sided open relationship formalized as such, for obvious reasons. Secondly, even if some women will accept it, the cheating behavior does damage. She won't be the same. It can work when she is low passion/libido and the marriage is a good business relationship. Or when some women get older and kinda go post-sex, which also changes the nature of her relationship to the man.

But you can't really have a passionate, highly sexual and loving relationship with your wife, but be cheating on the side with her knowledge, and not have this damage the woman. It will change her.

I think they dont understand biology or how humans are classified. Humans are mammals. Only 5% of mammals are monogamous (which means they lifelong pair bond, which means if the mate dies, they don't mate again) and of those 5% it's not always both genders that are monogamous. The female of the species usually isn't. (meaning if her mate dies, she will mate and reproduce with another)

Humans at best, long term pair bond, albeit usually short term. We are also classed as promiscuous animals, not monogamous ones. For any sex.

Sexually speaking it also doesn't really make sense, since men have a refractory period and can only orgasm so many times in a day before it becomes painful. Women don't have those limitations sexually speaking.

I'm a polyamorous woman. That's the relationship configuration that brings me the most joy. I know plenty of polyam women as well. The idea tha women are biologically monogamous is ludicrous, because our species isn't. And if it was at all, it would probably be the men of the species, based on other mammals.

The only reason our species had polygyny (one husband multiple wives, so harem situations) is because the women were (a) indoctrinated into it and (b) couldn't actually do anything about it. Might makes right doesn't speak to actual nature of something.

I grew up in Egypt, where religious polygyny is still a thing, but there are some things women try to do to stop it (not easily though, most threaten divorce but while divorce is allowed, the stigma falls on the woman usually). Women (and men) are usually not okay with "rules for thee and not for me". It's inherently unfair and hypocritical.

Now would some women agree to that if the man had enough money/status because that's what they care about and not sex or anything actually emotional or romantic or loving with someone? I'm sure some would. I'm sure some men would agree to it for those reasons too. But I don't think the majority of people would.

I might be polyamorous, but I started questioning the religious polygyny of Islam at around 6 (1st grade religion class. I gave my teacher many headaches). Because even as a kid I understood how unfair of an idea it was. The backlash I got was pretty severe, especially since I said that then logically, marrying a muslim man is stupid for any woman to do, and she should marry someone who isn't so the relationship can be fair and equal. 😅 That did not go over well.

Only a handful of men are effectively going to be able to pull this off. I estimate it's the top 5% of men who are physically, sexually (dirty-talk arousal and performance), financially, and socially capable of doing this.

Normally women have remained loyal to men who had a one or a few of these for a short time, but because women can satisfy some of these to a certain degree - especially secually and financially, only the men who hit the other features can do this long term. That doesn't mean permanently, because that man would have to maintain the standard permanently.

Men can try, but there are other methods to do this or something similar, but I suspect most men won't do this if they get certain aspects of their relationship desires met.

I don't think it's possible to know exactly how common cheating is for each sex because of the strong social desirability bias associated with such a question. If they admitted to cheating and word somehow got out, well, that could very likely ruin their marriage.

I have made this daredevil move, overtly, twice in my life. The first arrangement lasted maybe a year and I'm fairly certain both of them strayed a bit near the end. The second arrangement lasted almost 4 years. Much improved competence.

Is it biological? I mean, sure, all humans want to have their cake and eat it too. Maybe that notion is biological.

All I know is that it took a lot of skill to even thrive in that dynamic. More or less feel like a gorilla for better and worse.

Would probably not do it again. Although, perhaps stereotypically like a dude, I'm pretty sure if I did it again I could really make it work. Like get in the power rankings of how long those arrangements can last without formal coercion.

Here's the thing, it is natural for high-value men to have sex with many women, because of the reproductive costs being low, and their value being so high. In other species, it's completely normal for females to do the same. However, women have a high reproductive costs, and so do men if they stick around.

Women also have an evolutionary adaption of concealed ovulation to trick men into raising other men's kids, so that women can get a better combination of genes/paternal care. This inherently means cheating will never be equal between the two sexes. The cost of a woman cheating will always be higher than a man cheating, because of the consequences a man has to deal with vs. a woman. A woman really endures nothing. The man still probably loves her, the man still probably takes care of her, she's still his priority, and the man still had her kids. When a woman cheats, then she doesn't love the man. He's automatically #2 at best, and he will probably get left unless he's a provider (and the other guy isn't), in which case he'll probably be raising another man's kids without his consent thinking they're his.

There's also power dynamics that come into play. High value men provide a lot, and what it takes to provide those things is very difficult. These men are also naturally wired to want to spread their seed due to natural selection (the most successful and promiscuous men have the most successful children who inherit promiscuous genes). To make a relationship fair, then these men absolutely must cheat, and they are probably biologically wired to do so anyways. It's just ridiculous for women to even complain about. It's the equivalent of a man getting with a porn star, and then complaining about her cheating.

I have a theory about this.

Women date more for the attention than for sex. Men date more for sex than for the attention.
That's why men have less problems with emotional cheating as long as there's not been anything sexual going on. While women have less problems with sexual cheating as long as it was just sexual and their men aren't showing signs of actually emotionally caring for the other woman.

So, it's obvious that men and women use relationships to satisfy different needs.

Most women in relationship still use other men to get their attention fix. They have orbiters, backups, work husbands, ..... Most of them ready to drop everything and give her some sweet attention whenever she feels like she needs some.

So, if women use men outside of their own relationship to fullfill their main relationship incentive (getting attention), then men should do the same and fullfill their main relationship incentive with other women (getting sex).

That's how actual equality would look like.

So from a scientific point of view, the high value man/ open relationship- loyal woman/ closed relationship makes sense.

I think the important thing is both sides are honest and open and happy and effectively communicate what they want.
