To answer your title generally it’s assumed that the top 1- 10% of men can get laid easily. The top 11-20% will do pretty well. The remaining 80% are ignored.

The proof is in the pudding so if you’ve been trying and failing you’re definitely doing something wrong.

Good news is that it isn’t difficult to break into the top 20% but we need to know a lot more about you to tell you what you need to work on.

Everyone in here is full of shit. This is purely anecdotal but I’m gonna spell out for you what I’ve learned, as an objectively attractive guy who sorta has his shit together and isn’t braindead. I have a cousin, my age and he lives in his mom’s detached garage on a couch. He has no job or car at the moment. That’s fine because I came to find out during the night they were all sluts. I don’t need that for any reason, I see myself as above it, but it is an interesting paradox. I think the quality of women who want casual sex is 8/10 times so low that you wouldn’t want them, and they don’t wanna be anywhere near a guy so self aware as to be on a dating advice subreddit. Don’t take it to heart champ, just realign. I’ve been with (in the biblical sense) 5 girls in the ten years since losing my virginity and had a relationship with every one because they all seemed relationship material (a prerequisite for me to even bother knocking boots with them) and if I wanted to be some scummy fuckboy sure I could’ve probably been with 10x that, but when you’re a genuine person it’s hard to act like the kinda person that is “hookup material” but should lead to better long term results. Also not knocking seduction or the actual art of improving your social skills and ability to handle yourself around girls or woo them so no one get your panties in a bunch, but it seems like at least in my corner of the world girls have a specific “weight class” they fight in or a league they don’t really go outside of. Find the ones actually in your league and just know the higher your weight class the harder it could be to find worthy opponents, and the more skill it takes to win.

It's very simple, you're either 'fun' or you're 'value scanning' and questioning yourself, Just be fun, just have a personality, exude charisma and you'll be 'attractive' and get results.

While that's quite obvious, actually doing that is something else because you're too concerned about things which frankly do not matter. It's a psychological game. The mere notion that you 'might not be enough' is enough of a distraction that you can't think of what to say, you can't project yourself clearly, and of the stuff you do manage to pull out, it's a 'limp' effort.

It's very clear and obvious. If you do things, with some gumption behind it, women get amused and excited by it. The reality is that most guys aren't doing anything, all of their activity is internal and in the real world nothing is happening. What would you expect? Again, guys either do literally nothing or make a 'weak' effort. Of the guys who aren't stifled and have some semblance of 'energy output', it's not hard; you have to want to enagage, you have to want to get attention, you have to feel deserving of attention and there's nothing you actually 'need' other than your own acceptance.

Drink dates were usually planned for around 6:30-7:30pm. Gives the girl time to get ready but isn’t too late to where, after a couple of hours it’s too obvious that an invite back to mine is just to bang… so like a 6:30 drinks date, end at 8 and invite her back to mine is good as it’s still early. But if we started the date at like 9pm then that’s bad as it may be 11pm by the time we’re done and she probably has to wakeup early, plus what exactly are we doing going to mine after 11?

So don’t do that. Just make the dates earlier and you avoid that.

I think if you look deeper there will be something underpinning the hookup like one stringing the other along or some kind of relationship that’s been built up, even if it’s just friends with benefits. It’s mostly about confidence and mindset assuming you’re solid in exercise, job, and fashion. Even with all these things, you still need charisma. I can’t say for each individual, but it takes a while to develop this and confidence for dealing with women based off of my own experience. Just keep learning and you’ll break through eventually. 3.5 months is not that long and I wouldn’t compare myself to your friend who seems like he’s already found what works for him. Just keep improving, it can take months to years.

Edit: assuming you’re going after women you’re actually interested in and you view as 8-10. If you lower your standards you can easily get a women you find less attractive. But I’d encourage you trying to do the best you can do.

If it was LTR, 3.5 months is not enough time to heal. If you’re trying to bounce back or “win the breakup” like most of us guys do when we’re younger… it’s fruitless.

You gotta feel all those painful emotions. The fear. The shame. The guilt. The anger. The grief. All of it. You gotta feel it to heal it.

If not, you end up carrying this emotional baggage into every new connection with a woman and they can sense this. The fear or separation anxiety is what causes neediness and women get turned off. If you fully feel that fear and the rest of that pain until it is no more… you will exude confidence and vulnerability which will make a woman go ape shit for you.

That said… I’m not into hookups anymore. When I did, it was not bangers. It was slightly above average women. Fun for what it is but no one beautiful enough for me to consider a relationship with.

Now I enjoy friends with benefits type situations and real connections if I’m having sex. But in no rush to experience any of those things.

There's someone out there that wants what you want and some willing to compromise if they like you enough.

It’s about working on your game. When I became single it took me about 2 weeks of trying to score my first hookup. She literally just want to smash and go.
