Need some outside perspective on this.
Met a girl from one of my classes. We agreed pretty early on that neither of us was looking for anything serious and we’re mostly keeping it casual.
First date was drinks and we ended up kissing.
Second date was dinner. We spent a couple hours talking, a lot of the conversation ended up being sexual, lots of flirting, and we had a pretty intense makeout session in my car afterward.
One thing that threw me off during the second date was that she told me she hooked up with a guy less than a month ago and apparently it happened pretty quickly. She did say they both were drunk and her inhibitions were lowered. Meanwhile, I’m now a few dates in.
Logically I know they’re different situations. She seems very attracted to me and the only reason things didn’t go further last time seemed to be logistics. She lives with family, I don’t live alone either, and she didn’t want to do anything in a car.
She actually seems pretty receptive to the idea of getting a hotel next time since neither of us really has a private place.
My question is How would you guys handle Date 3?
Would you make the hotel part of the plan beforehand and be upfront about it? Or would you keep the date normal, build the vibe, and only bring it up later if things naturally head in that direction?
Also, am I putting too much weight on the fact that another guy got there faster, or is that a legitimate thing to pay attention to?
Interested in hearing from people who’ve been in similar situations.
