It's insane how many women are resonating to the same life experiences, the same type of men, the same type of bullshit in relationships, and we are from all across the world too. It's not just the West!

Let's continue to set strong boundaries, educate ourselves and other women about the reality of dating and how to stay safe from these predatory/time-wasting LVM. It's not just who you date, but also analyzing the messages in the media you consume as well, and decolonizing our mental frameworks from the misogyny and patriarchy in the world around us.

I am so excited! I started reading FDS in February/March 2020 (the pandemic got me on reddit!) when there were approx 20,000 subscribers. To reach 200,000 eighteen months later is such an accomplishment! Now onto to 2,000,000!

FDS has absolutely helped me change my life in positive way. I am teaching my children and tge women around me who I love hat there is another way to exist, and that our existence, as it is, is valid and valuable, regardless the status and state of our relationships with others.

I remember when I joined, it was yearrrrs ago on a different account, (deleted due to attempted doxing and would rather be safe than sorry) and few people knew of FDS outside of Reddit. Now you see young people using phrases like pick me and followers have grown significantly. You also see more posts everywhere of women and young girls waking up and spouting FDS advice.

It feels like it was just yesterday that I was praying the subreddit gets more recognition last year and hoping it will be a popular subreddit internationally due to all the important lessons and words of wisdom this place holds. I joined when we were around 90k people. Can't believe how much it's grown! FDS is my favourite sub on Reddit, especially when the content leans in towards feminist theory. I've even noticed my non FDS friends bringing up FDSisms in conversation, that's when you know it's making a cultural impact 👑💕✨
