I’ve liked both tall and short men, and what I’ve noticed is the short ones who are insecure about their height are perpetually angry. Even if you are ok with it they will find a way to make it a problem. I knew one short guy (5’5-ish) who was hella cute, but permanently pissed and I just could not with him.

I think the first guy got rejected for being rude, and he blamed it on being short. He said she liked him for his looks first then changed her mind. Then he says she’s a 3/10 at best. I know this was discussed elsewhere, but my ex literally lied about his height. He said he was 5'6. An inch shorter than me. He was actually 5'4. He also told me I was less fat than he expected. (I had only dropped 50lbs year before. Ugh)

My other ex ... He was exactly who he said he was in terms of aesthetics. He said he had actually thought my pictures were somewhat filtered (we met through a Facebook friend) and was intimidated when he met me because he didn't expect me to be so gorgeous and to have such a nice figure, otherwise he wouldn't have tried to pursue me. And so he brought his A game for months. Treated me according to all the FDS rules. Definitely made my standards go up because I saw it was possible. This is all stuff I found out long after we broke up. And I don't have that nice of a figure and I'm only moderately pretty but eye of the beholder.

I'm 5'4 and back in the day I met with a guy from OLD that said he was 5'5. I thought 'well I won' t be shallow, I'll give this short guy a chance'. Besides, I'm petite myself, what could possibly go wrong. So we meet and he is even shorter than me🤦🏼‍♀️ 5'5 my arse, he was a miniature man. I never understand why people just don't accept personal preferences. At that point usually nobody (accept if it already was one-sided to begin with) is in love, so just move on? It is not even just men who think we are ugly psychos. I saw women on Youtube talking about FDS being a femcel sub, full of ugly desperate women, who can't get a man. Actually they never bothered to read anything, not even the titles of any threads, to know what FDS is about.

I once commented about what FDS is under a Youtube video, and the (female) Youtuber who made it, deleted my comment after a few minutes. I wasn't bitchy or anything, just told her, that FDS is about teaching women about how to be careful with men and looking for warning sings when dating and how to spot a man of means or an abuser.
