Madonna/wh0re complex. It has nothing to do with him finding strange women more attractive than her. It’s that he views those women as expendable “wh0res” for his use, but wants his gf as a pristine Madonna just for him. Women are only ever in those 2 categories to these men. Her sending him sexy pictures (or indeed expressing her sexual desires to him outside his control) makes him angry at her for daring to be a “wh0re”.

That being said, never ever send sexual pictures. Not to your boyfriend, nor husband even, because you never know what he’ll do with them if you ever break up.

Do not date men that follow insta thirst traps. Found out a guy I was dating last year was one of those -- followed them on his professional work account no less -- and that was the end of him. Tacky, creepy and honestly, says he places high value on fake looking female appearances.

First, don’t send nudes or any lewds you wouldn’t be comfortable with being on the internet.

And secondly, all men that follow Instagram models are low value. They should be appreciating your body, natural and with flaws, rather than conditioning themselves to prefer an Instagram model’s body that’s been photoshopped to hell.

What would I do? I wouldn't waste another moment of my precious time trying to figure out a man who follows Insta models. That is LV behaviour, and a man who engages in LV behaviour is a LVM. No need to make it complicated or get insecure whatsoever. When a man behaves in a way that leaves you confused, insecure, unhappy, or frustrated, that shows you that he does not care about your feelings. There is no benefit to staying with a man who does not care about your feelings. Believe what a man shows you the first time, and you'll never be confused again.

Well I wouldn’t like to see a bf liking these kind of photos from other women( specially if it’s a woman he knows personally which can potentially be an opportunity for cheating). I feel like in this situation the best thing to do would to dump him because it does seem like he’s trying to make her insecure and triangulate her with all these others girls he finds himself more attracted.

Besides the fact that it’s so disrespectful to engage in that behavior, anything someone likes or follows on Instagram is there for others to see as well. He’s not only disrespecting his partner, but humiliating her too.

Sending thirst traps is low value, period. He will keep all those pics and share them with his bros. Some men will try to use those pics ro blackmail or manipulate you.

Even so, it's a red flag he's following and liking trashy pics on Instagram. It's a good indicator he's buying those women's OF accounts and pornsick.

My last guy followed THOUSANDS of thirst trap women, like I saw it mentioned on FDS as a red flag so I checked every guy I was currently dating and only ONE passed that test. (He follows one and she’s really famous) all the others followed an obscene amount but one guy was following like 10k accounts 🤯and at least 75% of them were insta “models”.

Just run from a guy like this. The one who passed doesn’t like thirst trap photos and prefers to see me in person over pics. (Lingerie, etc)

It's not that he doesn't like the pictures. He probably thinks they're objectively sexy. It's that he doesn't like thinking you're the "type of girl" who would take and send nude pictures to anyone, including him. (In his mind, you might as well be sending them to other people if you're taking them at all.) To him, that "devalues" you. It puts you on the same level as the Instagram models, which is to say, also the same level as the porn actresses in the porn he watches: a sex object. They're seen as immoral and not "worthy" of relationship status in the minds of these LVM, only degradation, which they equate with sex.

I recently watched the sitcom Taxi from the late 70's, and there was an episode about the Madonna/whore complex. Louie (played by Danny Devito), who is portrayed as extremely scummy and mean to everyone, starts dating Zena (played by Rhea Perlman), who is extremely nice to everyone. He starts bragging to the gang at work about his "sexual exploits" with her. But she shows up later and reveals the truth by asking if they know why Louie hasn't made a move on her yet. They've been on several dates and he's been a perfect gentleman, but he doesn't actually seem attracted. Is she doing something wrong? He says later: "I was brought up that there are the nice girls, and then there are the girls you have fun with." (Spoiler alert, she becomes his bangmaid and dumps him after he cheats on her.)

In my honest opinion, if he follows (sexy/models), flirts, or crushes on other women, then that's my major cue to leave him. I would never follow "hot" male models while in a relationship, not just because I've lost that attraction, but also simply because of love and respect. And even then, it'd be weird and gross to do that even outside of a relationship.

It's clear that I'm not enough. I strongly believe that the person you're with should be the only person you'd want. Men and women are different, but I genuinely can't find other people attractive and can't "crush" on other people if I'm with the "love of my life". If he doesn't feel the same with me, then we weren't meant to be. I want to be with a guy who shares that crucial, special feeling.

my ex never asked for pictures and when I sent them he wasn't enthusiastic about them, and wasn't comfortable sending me anything. but he followed umpteen million butt models on instagram. when I challenged why he needed to follow so many "that's all it's good for everyone uses the gram this way". it made me feel really conflicted, he would gas me up on normal pretty pictures, but anything spicy meant specifically for him was met with indifference. highly suspect! never again.
