just want to point out he talked sense into men too. he would constantly tell men they were not HVM and what they should be doing to be HVM. i also listened to a clip where he told a man that was dating a “HVW” she was ready for marriage and he was not, he told him he needed to leave her alone because he’s wasting her time and she deserved better & he was wasting her youth. so, i think he did advocate for things that were cool

Shame he died, I also see a lot of people dancing on his grave. Can't say I'm that outraged as I was never that big a fan. I also have to side eye the fact that he was 50+ and lived with roomates and seemed to have trouble maintaining his vehicles. I thought he was an interesting follow on from someone like Patrice O'neal who also died even younger which makes me wonder whether being too "redpilled" may be a bad sign. I kinda lean on it being the case because I feel relationships are an important "stabiliser" for most men, which in itself is an important factor for living longer.

I don't think his death is going to make any difference though, I feel his commentary was more a reflection that any particular kind of ideology. There are "high value men" out there and I do legit think one of the unsaid truths is that these men are becoming increasingly rarer and more discriminatory against factors deemed to make women "unappealing". So yes, I do think being overweight, having kids, lacking feminine charisma/guile or being from lower socioeconomic backgrounds will be a hindrance. However, at the same time, I feel women have also become increasingly independent and thus will only feel a relationship is worthwhile if it is being pursued with a man of significant looks/means/status. I also think his talk about "HVM" being more likely to cheat and even being prone to "corporal punishment" is a reflection of reality. Maybe I'm just jaded but I genuinely feel those with the right power and connections can operate with near impunity given just how imbalanced wealth and economic prospects have become. Its a worrying time.

The dude was basically shitting on black women. He had the trp points and sure he called out delusional women. But

1) his whole shebang was not self improvement. The free videos was all about making the women realise they are aiming too high in a pretty direct painful way.

Maybe he did self improvement during the paid private sessions.

2) I've seen at times, he held his punches. He showed sympathy and didn't enjoy inflicting pain. He wasn't a piece of shit and that's a compliment.

There's still details coming out about his death I know he had cancer in college, Hodgkin's lymphoma, I'm pretty sure he beat it but you never know

I was really surprised to hear a pop culture podcast I listen to mention his death. Don’t get excited: it’s one of those two-dudes-bullshit-about-nothing podcasts hosted by two obscure guys I wouldn’t have heard of if I didn’t follow their early twitter work.

Anyway, the extent of their Kevin Samuels retrospective was this:

“RIP Kevin Samuels. The misogynistic YouTuber who gave terrible advice.” “Oh yeah, I heard of him. Dude was hilarious. Lemme see if I can find some clips of him.” “So that whole thing was an act, right?” “Yeah, has to be. You don’t think he really…” “No, it’s too ridiculous to be real. Right?” “Did you ever find those clips?” “No.” “Ah well, moving on.”

Again, just two nobodies’ opinion but they pretty much echo mine and any other normal person (read: non-incel) who had heard of him: shit personality who gave shit advice who could only be redeemed if it were some long-form troll job. Nothing of value was lost.
