No. No no no. Wanting to roleplay rape (a better term is consensual non-consent) is not even in the same ballpark as having an orgasm during actual rape. That is dangerously close to saying that "she wanted it" on some level. An orgasm is primarily a physiological response that can be triggered with enough physical stimulation (much in the same way that having an erection happens sometimes even when you don't want it to). The two aren't related at all.

Bad things happen to good people. Once a person comes to terms with that its easy to deal with traumatic experiences. I've never understood how a person could let such a small part of their human experience define them. Maybe its because society tells these victims that their lives are ruined. I guess that's the downside to taking crime so seriously is that the victims of those crimes feel that such a tiny experience defines who they are.

Better in that it's an established term within the kink community. Its parameters are pretty well-defined. It avoids the negative connotations of the word "rape" and specifies that is a consensual act - which is apparently necessary, given the grey areas that seem to have come out in this thread.

Male and female orgasm have both physical and mental components. To even claim that a female organism is "largely mental" is a factitious statement demonstrating a clear misunderstanding of female anatomy. The feelings of euphoria either gender feels is a result of hormonal release and neurotransmitter release. Physical sensations stimulate nervous system firing, when result in a physical response. Men ejaculate, women can get pelvic quivering and in some classes also release a fluid.
Additionally men can have orgasms without ejaculating. By your logic.. i guess that is "largely mental".
If you are going to beg the question for academic query, at least present an argument of academic facts.

do you even biology? Please quantify, with evidence, what you determine to be mental. Is it "Mental" as in firing of neurons? Is it the release of neurotransmitters (in the case of organism, dopamine). So are you saying that women release more dopamine? Isnt that then a biological response? Please provide even a small amount of scientific evidence to indicate that in some fashion a female organism is in some way more mental than a male one. Otherwise it is purge conjecture.

Let's consider I hold two view points (I hold many more, but just for example's sake). Let's say A is about, oh, erection not being a form of consent. And for the sake of argument, let's say B is an ignorant belief about female orgasm due to how "mysterious" media presents it to be, and the largely ignorant male and female populace as well (eg: Many males don't know about prostate or perineum massage, females can be just as ignorant).
If A is valid, and B is invalid, then why do you believe the one example of ignorance represents more ignorance outside of the invalid belief, or further that examples of ignorance outweigh any validity of other concerns?
Consider a woman wearing sexy clothes. Clearly it's her prerogative to do so and her dress style doesn't represent consent to sex or women as a whole in any way, in fact some folks may think she's not sexy. Now consider this same woman on TV. It would be ridiculous to claim that the portrayal of a woman in any way reflects on woman as a whole, or that viewers will come to any consensus naturally about the woman. It would be asinine to claim portrayals such as these are repressive or that "objectification" can exist based on such portrayals, due to the nature of subjective interpretation.
So, you see, one tactic employed in Identity Politics is where you take one example of something, claim it representative of a larger demographic without any evidence to support the claim (or testing of the null hypothesis), in order to incite to action or shame, dismiss, or otherwise shape perception of the larger demographic.
Now, consider that your views on female orgasm are vaild, I can still say that you're completely bat-shit insane if you think anything the parent poster said destroys any validity of the concerns Men's Rights presents. We value the "Conscious" drive most in terms of consent, since executive ability should be applied to decisions about sex. This is the reason why the "largely mental" distinction is largely mental, i.e., not based in reality.
Now, of course you can spit philosophical hairs over the difference between "want" and "drive", however, you will be unable to prove any significant difference exists in reality. You will not disprove the null hypothesis: want and drive are indistinguishable. A want is merely a mental drive. You can't prove you want what you want because you want it rather than because the nature of your existence wants it. To Clarify this: under all jurisdictions in the UK, rape is defined as something that is done with a penis. The alternative crimes are sexual assault, sexual assault by penetration, or the wonderfully encompassing "causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent". Unfortunately the sentences aren't entirely equal - rape carries a maximum sentence of life, as does sexual assault with penetration or causing sexual activity where penetration is involved. Causing sexual activity without penetration only carries a maximum sentence of 10 years.
On the plus side it's better than the pre-2009 Scots law setup in which the definition of rape was so very specific that 90% of scenarios which any sane person would call rape, weren't...

I'd tend to argue that "not proven" is actually quite a good thing, at least from a psychological perspective: guilty should be a decision made only if all reasonable doubt has been dispelled, but juries are liable to find someone guilty because despite the presence of reasonable doubt, they think there's too much doubt for innocent (which is irrelevant, but your average man on the street doesn't understand due process). Nor proven allows you to say in effect "Not enough evidence for a conviction" without having to make a definitive "not guilty", as it were.
