If I had a son, the number one thing I’d do is have him in socializing activities. I don’t care if it’s things I like, like sports or lifting or doing Pokémon tournaments or playing an instrument.
So the odds little dude will be perpetually online or sucked into internet subs that make no sense when you are active and out living your young life in the real world, are going to be pretty damn low.

If it’s only the looks-maxing/self-improvement part of red-pill, I would help him by encouraging him to work out, eat nutritious healthy foods, groom himself, dress stylishly, braces and teeth whitening, skin care/acne treatment etc.

I’d also encourage him to develop some hobbies that females traditionally like especially if he’s an introvert or neurodivergent (music, theatre, dance, art etc.)

If it’s the toxic FnF flavor of red-pill (bang 50 hoes before marrying a young dumb virgin, view women as fundamentally less than men), then serious discussions and therapy would be in order.

Pretty much the same advice and strategy for black pill, MGTOW, and incel.

Well the fourth would depend on what he posted, but for the others I'd just be confused because I assume he'd be raised to be somewhat logical in his thinking and that would fly in the face of it. I'd have to discuss and work out how the fuck he believes this before considering how I could help. (Or maybe his dad would, if he's bought into an ideology that proclaims I shouldn't be listened to.)

MGTOW is under the RP umbrella, and honesty I would encourage it to some extent. I would emphasize that MGTOW isn’t so much about just swearing off women, but more about not letting society define you as a man, and finding a path that he sees fit. I would really try to drive home the no-marriage aspect of things.

If he was an incel, I would drag him to the gym with me. I would encourage him to go to social events and stuff, and I would teach him about things like style/grooming (assuming I haven’t already).

If he were terminally online, I’d take away his electronics for X hours out of the day and make him touch grass.

Women needed their equality. However - the movement has sought to have their cake and eat it too and threatens to cancel anyone who challenges the assertion. It’s out of hand and needs to be stopped. I don't have a son, but I have a much younger brother who's in his late teens now. He has no interest in any of the manosphere or pill idologies, while also not absorbing any hate or shame of his own gender from feminism, so I feel I succeeded as an older brother lol

If he did, I would discuss these topics with him, and try to understand where he's coming from. If he had some extreme beliefs, I would try to steer him towards more nuanced, moderate positions.

If he was incel or MGTOW, I would also give him some practical advice about dating, so that he could have a more positive experience of it.

I encouraged him to be social at a young age, and prepared him for dating well enough, that he wouldn't go down this road. It seems that some guys here are fed lethal doses of blue pills when young, and then feel betrayed and swing all the way to the other side when they realize that some of the empty platitudes they were told are just that.

I (f) have a 9yo son and I try really hard to have a relationship with him where he feels like he can talk to me. With kids, it’s really important who they’re around. Obviously a 9yo is more impresionable than a 16yo but honestly not that much.

Every parent/child relationship is different but with my son I would talk to him about his views. Even now we talk openly about almost everything. My goal as a parent is not to raise a mini version of myself, but to raise someone who is happy and able to function in society (job, partner if he wants, hobbies, fulfillment etc.) I don’t believe that these views add up to a fulfilling life but I’d give more leniency to my child making the justification if he really believes it’s the path that will bring him fulfillment. If we’re talking 18+ I would probably ask him to consider other points of view as he’s asking me to consider his, but as a parent as long as he’s not harming himself I don’t really feel like it’s my place to tell him what to believe. Under 18 I would also encourage different friends/activities but I also understand when my folks told me to do/not do something I did the opposite of what they wanted.

I discuss things with my kids since they were 12-13. They have good positive examples of a strong independent sex positive woman. My husband and I are separated but they see us working together, laughing together, cooperating, talking and always agreeing on everything or almost. So… my kids are not going to be redpilled, blackpilled etc. they saw Tate on YouTube. They can’t believe that the guy is serious. They were like ‘oh no he’s just making a parody!!’.

If he’s a teenager 16 - 18 I would give him advice and demand him to leave these spaces ASAP. He’s literally a baby who’s too young and inexperienced too fully understand those groups and topics, and by staying/lurking he’s at risk of self-sabotaging especially if he identifies as an incel or MGTOW.

19 - 20 I would recommend therapy and force him to participate in student groups and events at college, stating the same thing as above.

21+ he’s approaching the danger “no turning back” zone. I would still love him but there will be a lot of unlearning and deprogramming to be done that’ll years of effort to undo. But it will start with creating friction between him and the internet.

Below 18, parents have obligations. The only OK thing you suggested is MGTOW. I don't know how I would treat the son, that depends on what specific issues he had. No two troubled manosphere men are the same. A man genuinely going his own way is fine. There are many reasons a man might be single. We can't judge based on these stereotypes, except that there's no good reason to brazenly resent basically all women. I would feel absolutely devastated if I raised a sexist, resentful, unhappy son. As long as I reasonably thought I had a chance, I would be willing to try and make improvements - especially before he was 18. But it's hard for me to imagine what to do. I think I would need the help of a father figure. At a certain point, you can't fight someone who is determined to be hateful for no reason....

I would never allow for my kid to end up like that. Me and my husband met young, and my brother in law was a lil kid. He grew up with us guiding him and being there for him. I love him like my brother, bonded with him early on. My in-laws are dumb af and abusive af on top of it. Me and husband made sure to always talk openly with his brother, we made sure he socialized, we pushed for him to always be in a sport, a team sport preferably. Took him with us on many outings and "dates" so to call them, we always talked openly about anything and everything. He saw our relationship evolve and grow, he took it as an example realizing at an early age that his parent's toxic relationship is NOT ok and not how it should be. I've seen him grow into a fine young man now, he is still somewhat shy, but remains social, open minded, active phisically, and always standing up for himself. We made sure he had the support and guidance my husband never got.

A child needs both a mother's touch and a father's, in order to grow up well. Son or daughter, doesn't matter, both parents need to set a good example and offer proper upbringing and opportunity. When i see someone that's a bad person, i always ask myself where did his parents let them down. This includes someone that follows any pill nonsense.

This bitch needs an intervention and some ass whoopings (that have a lesson ofc, not just mindless beatings at some dingy BJJ gym where they treat him like a practical dummy)

This is tricky because often young people of this age will do the exact opposite of what their parents advise.
I would try to link them with men who are positive role models, that they can see as a peer. I’d explain a bit about how people get recruited in to cults so they can see how all the same tactics are being used and how they’ve been taken advantage of. I would offer to pay for therapy but not force it.

I’d get them around the opposite sex and I would provide them with information that supports their need for the opposite sex, I’d also let them know I don’t want men in my life who don’t respect women because I’m also a woman who deserves the respect I give out.

Worse come to worse if they are adults then I’d cut contact. If they want to know why I’d let them know that despite my best efforts of teaching them right from wrong they’ve chosen to be satisfied doing wrong as it pertains to women and I don’t wish to be associated with the person he chooses to be.

Disclaimer: I am a father, but my son is 9yo, so such choices are far ahead in the future for him.

red-pilled, if he become red-pilled before marriage: I would be proud of him learning from father's mistakes.
incel, as in someone who does not get any female attention: I would push him to take care of his body (diet, gym etc.) and financial situation.
incel, as in someone who hates women due to not getting any attention: All of above plus therapy.
MGTOW, his life, his choice, whatever makes him happy.
terminally online, cut off access to the Internet if underage. Cut off access to my money, to force adult son to find work.
