If a man chooses to go this route it's generally a man who has earned a pension i.e. military or government. Combine this with the fact that United Sates is generally becoming less traditional and less secular, then some men will choose a different path if capable to find a traditional wife.

Slightly off topic, but I think the naysayers have an issue with it because to some degree they view women outside of America as lesser than imo. Superiority complex I suppose.

Most American women will not date their looksmatch, they will only even talk to someone heavily better looking than themselves (on dating apps, which are the most popular method of meeting now). Then ironically complain about men not wanting to commit. Feminism really has ruined dating in America.

But yes I have looked at my options in Mexico, Philippines and Singapore, and the women who are interested in me there are a full 1-2 points better looking than in America. They're often ok with bigger age gaps as well.

Yes, I'm a passport bro. But I wouldn't say I left America purley because of the women. Mostly to save money while still enjoying my youth and travel the world. I make well into the 6 figures with a remote job, so why not. Getting women easier is just kind of the cherry on the top.

I traveled to mexico around 2 months ago and have been living here since. The area I'm in has ALOT of tourists, moreso than locals. I interact with women from all over the world. UK, France, Spain, Australia, etc.... given my location.

I speak to all women but I avoid American women like the plauge(Also most UK women). They are just terrible people to talk too(Not all of them, but I'd say a solid 90%). The goto phrase me and friends heard atleast 3 american women say "I don't buy my own drinks". It kind of shows you the attitude they have.

You just get the vibe that they expect you to do everything. Even if your just having a normal friendly talk. I will note that women from more central America are decent. It's the women from the coasts and major metropolitian cities that are repulsive. I think this is symptomatic of the Hate men trend happening in America, perfectly captured by the Barbie movie.

After meeting women from other countries, who do not have this "Hate Men" mentality. I've decidied 100% that I will not marry an american women. Unless I find a diamond in the ruff. Which is kind of sad because I could definitely connect with them more. But most of them are misandrist garbage who bring absolute no value to the relationship other than their pussy.

With this being said, if your a chump and come here no women is going to look your way. Other than overtly gold digging women. I'm tall, in good shape, have decent charisma, good style, early twenties, and a hard worker. I got a decent amount of women in America aswell. The women from other countries are just much much better quality partners.

The first week I was in Mexico was the first time a women ever cooked for me after a ONS. I was so perplexed and was about to wife her up right then and there.

I also just don't identify with America anymore. I don't connect with so many aspects of American society anymore. In terms of our intersexual gender dynamics, our politic agendas, and overall the moral fabric of our society. Not to mention the insane rise of living costs due to reckless government spending that I don't even support. America is just not a society I want to raise my family in.

Hard Times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create bad times.

Unnfortutnely America is in the latter part of that cycle. BRICS is the future, if we don't irradiate our planet...

To any man thinking about leaving America. DO IT! But make sure your not a looser. A looser in America, is likely a looser anywhere else in the world. Be atleast average, optimally slightly above average. Else your just gonna attract gold diggers.

Secondly it is a thing. There is a portion of men in the west especially America that really miss the security of a woman depending on them fiscally. So they go to these countries where the US currency stretches farther than in America and where these women live in poorer conditions and they will go over there and give the family gifts and the woman gifts and pay for her attraction. They like and wish that they could still have this control over women like the earlier in America's generations.

I think many women in other countries actually know how to treat a man and still hold traditional values which is what attracts men to them. Personally, I’ve dated many women in the states and many women in other countries. I’ll use Colombia as an example. Yes, it’s a poorer country but I’ve met women who have not once asked me for a dime but were one of the most feminine and interesting women I’ve met, highly educated, had a VISION, etc. I think those women overseas supercede American women in all metrics that are important to most men as it pertains to relationships.

I’m planning on moving to the Philippines early next year! It’s definitely a real thing, though it isn’t quite the most common thing to do 🙂 I wouldn’t say I’ve felt targeted there per se in the past, but there are scammers there though so you do have to keep both eyes open when dating haha

The vast majority of Americans never leave their country (aside from maybe a short trip to Canada or Mexico)....

I've noticed that the Americans I meet while traveling abroad tend to be a lot .... different than your average American living state-side..... like more humble, kind, generous, open-minded, etc....

Just my personal observation.

There are countless european and north american men where I live, latin american women have always been very solicited by men of all nationalities I think since the 60's or even 70's (my father, born italian, married an argentinian woman after all, and he comes from the union of an argentinian woman and an german man, so you get the idea). When I was in Spain local men were going nuts for argentinian and brazilian female inmigrants, and to be honest it always seemed logic to me, since for some weird reasson latin american women were more pleasant, femenine and beautiful than european girls overall.

I also worked as a tour guide in Argentina when in my 20's. I was born in Italy, but I lived most of my childhood in my mothers city. My family on my mother's side is from the Southern region of Argentina, from Patagonia, and since I had mountain trainning (military) and could speak italian, portuguese, english and spanish quite fluently and a bit of french too, and of course I knew the andinian mountains quite good, I was hired to work guiding groups of people for walks through the region.

I met lots of good people in that job, couples and families and made quite a few contacts, and I also made friends with lots of young guys my age. You know, you make some really good Friends in the mountain where your phones are seas and there isn't much to do but walk and talk haha.

Lots of these guys were there just on vacations, but a good chunk of them came looking for a place to stay. For some reasson the country just "got them".

Now, I do not count these men as "pasaport bros", but some of the things they talked about resonantes a lot with this movement of men looking for sex, relationships, marriage and whatever abroad.

I met two yanks, a group of spaniard guys, three canadian, a british, quite a few swedish/finish/norwegian/german guys, two italian brothers, a french and even a japanese dude, that I can recall.

ALL of them where, almost invariably, on the conservative side, leaning somewhat "nationalist/patriot" kind of guys.

They loved their countries and were really proud of their homelands, but they seemed somewhat delusioned. They spoke about their homes in a way that made me feel their countries and societies let them down or something.

One of the yanks used to say "America wasn't the country he grew up in anymore", he was like 28 WTF?

The french dude said "I am french, I love France, but I'm enamoured of Argentina, of argentinian people. You sing your national anthem with so much pride, you love the national flag... In France these days, to sing the Marselleise is considered an act of facism, you can get labelled as extreme far right for it."

Spaniard dudes were crazy with the landscape thou.

And they were all crazy with the women in there, so yeah that's that too.

But this was not sexual tourism, mind you, these were all traditional minded guys going out and dating local women in the old fashioned way. And yeah, lots of them decided to stay, and others got their girlfriends and left after months.

I still keep contact with a bunch of them over Facebook and Instagram, and yes, lots of them are married.

Except for the french, he's an absolute manwhore. But he has been living here for over a decade now, we have become best friends in fact.

Should say these were not unlucky guys on the looks department mind you, in fact, they were quite good looking and in shape guys, and some of them came from quite well off families as I learned over time.

My friend, the french, is actually one of the most (if not the most) impressive men on a olistic level I should say, that I've met in my whole life. He's tall, jacked, good looking and quite brilliant, and on top of that he has generational wealth. Women can't just seem to get enough of him, which has become a problem because the dude can't just pick one.

Now, this phenomena of dating women from more conservative backgrounds has been around for decades now...

These "pasaport bros" are nothing new, thou as far as I could see, the guys on the internet giving life to this new movement are african american men mostly.

Which I guess is logic, since dating abroad was only aviable for white men decades ago.

I think these guys are just posting videos and overinflating the phenomena for the likes and views, but it's not like this thing is new anyways.

One thing is sure, all latin american cities are crowded with men from Europe and North America, and even some parts of Asia these days.

I can't walk for Rio, Punta del Éste or the bars and nightclubs of Buenos Aires without running into a german, a british, a canadian or a french dude.

All in all... It's kinda annoying, but I guess it's all fair.

Yes it is. Two of my friends are currently doing this.

One friend got a job at the airport just so he could fly for free. He travels a lot to places in Latin America (he likes Spanish girls). He's showed me a lot of naked pics of the girls he meets there.

Another friend is a RN. He works per diem just to have a flexible schedule so he could travel. That means he has a flexible schedule that allows him to travel a lot, but it also means he gets no health insurance or 401K.

He spends a lot on it and loses money by not working full time, but all he wants to do is bang hot chick's so he doesn't care. He also like to show off to everyone on social media about it.

I also have another Friend that plans to do it, always talks about it, but hasn't actually done it yet.

People have been getting wives from overseas for decades. I think I’ve met 4-5 older men who are married to younger women who were born overseas. No idea whether they met through a dating app and then flew them over here or actually travelled to that country to find them but the idea is the same.

It’s still a pretty small minority and not entirely socially accepted though.

It is a real thing. It is mostly men who are awkward socially, or have personality traits that women in their area would not put up with. Some of the men are actually poor, but are seen as wealthy by women in poorer areas, due to their race or the country that they were born in. Sometimes, it is just in the guy's own head, he has some trauma or issues that cause him to think that he isn't good enough, but if he goes outside of his country, he will be seen as "better".

Women have gotten worse in America, but the same thing exists that men might not be working hard enough to find the women they want… Or actually qualify for them.

I think flying off to a whole different continent, if you’re not willing to spend years there and become assimilated to the culture just to find a wife who is “compliant,” is pretty silly when you could do that in your own country.

But a lot of these men can’t, and they won’t admit it. They know that their status as an American will be the only thing that gives them a leg up on men in other countries when to comes to their own women. I’m very pro-man, but the passport bro movement seems kind of silly.

I only have one really close friend who became a PB… He just finished his divorce from a Taiwanese woman who used to scratch him until he bled and bang her head into the wall and call the cops on him when he didn’t do anything :-)

Unless you’re going to do it right (move somewhere for years and learn the language), [men should] just focus on yourself and stop thinking ALL American women are modern and feminist. I’m first generation American and I didn’t even know what feminism was until I was 18. Rejected it HARD lol.

I have met literally hundreds of former US service members who were stationed overseas, married a foreign woman from the country they were stationed in and just decided to stay there after separating from the military. Shit's been going on since the first world war and probably before that.

So yes, it's a thing. But it isn't a new thing at all. It's just the latest topic to be beaten to death on PPD.

No matter what you hear it's probably not that women in America are bad it's more so that dating abroad is dating with a handicap advantage. Depending on the country especially, being a foreigner makes it significantly easier because you are exotic and interesting and if you go to a poorer country the women might hope you will take them away to America. So they might call Americam women gold diggers but they are essentially looking for the same thing in foreign women.

There’s a reality tv show I’ve watched a couple episodes of about people (both men and women!) who intentionally seek out relationships through matchmakers in other countries.

That is the closest I’ve come to witnessing this in real life.

People actually going overseas to find partners isn't too common overall, but a couple factors will significantly increase the likelihood of passport brotherhood:

Being part of a marginalized minority. Racism is a factor in dating in the US, so going abroad might be seen as a way to escape the caste system.
How much you value pure physical attraction over cultural affinity. Honestly if your goal is to find the most physically attractive woman possible, it's a no-brainer to look abroad unless you're in the top tier of attractiveness. But many if not most men would prefer to search within a pool of dating candidates with shared upbringing and experiences.

Also those who have connections to another country can do very well to tap into that. Probably wouldn't count as passport bros necessarily, more like passport prodigals. The second-gen Asian Americans I know that did this all ended up with women far more physically attractive than they would've landed stateside.

Yes it's not just purely about getting a wife either. Living in the West is becoming very expensive. Also the west from a economic standpoint is well flat lining South America Middle East Africa Asia are all economically developing (excluding Japan, china, and south Korea as theyre fully developed). So it would be cheaper to live there and possibly more economic opportunities. Imagine the old European traders of the past but in 21st century format
