Ok so this is a tricky line to toe because men can be predatory, especially pretending to befriend you in a long con in order to sleep with you. But as someone who has only been romantically involved with people I’ve known for an extended period of time, I don’t mean a few months, I mean a few years. I’ve tried causally dating men who I knew nothing about first and I found those men are far more insufferable, boring and unlikeable.

You NEED to make sure that he sees you as a person FIRST and the easiest way to achieve this is making sure you have a connection that isn’t based on lust (use your own judgement on what that means)
