The reality is either a woman likes you or she doesn't, so trying to get her to like you is a waste of time, and so is trying to impress her. I've heard men say not to try to impress a woman who doesn't like them, but I would even go as far as saying not to try to impress a woman who likes you. If she genuinely likes you, she'll naturally be impressed by you. You don't need to try.

One of the main problems when it comes to dating and attracting women is that most men don't know their worth, so they end up jumping through hoops and essentially degrading themselves by "selling" themselves in an attempt to get women to like them. But none of this actually works, and in the rare cases it does, that just means that the man has to keep jumping through hoops and trying to impress and get approval from the woman he likes, which essentially means that he is giving away his power.
