I'm a lesbian trans woman, so this isn't me looking for dating advice or asking whether you'd date me. I'm trying to understand how the Red Pill thinks about attraction.

One thing I've never understood is this: if you believe average men are being excluded from dating because a small number of high-status men get all the women, why don't Red Pill influencers spend more time asking why so many of their followers aren't attracted to women who are also routinely excluded from conventional dating standards?

I'm not saying those women should date Red Pill men. Quite the opposite. Many of those women are already in vulnerable positions, and I wouldn't want them targeted because someone thinks they're "easier." That's not what I'm asking.

I'm asking why Red Pill advice never seems to question men's own standards. Why aren't men encouraged to examine why they dismiss older women, fat women, disabled women, or trans women out of hand? If the movement is about helping lonely men find relationships, why is the solution almost always "become attractive enough for conventionally attractive women" instead of asking whether your own ideas about beauty, gender, and desirability are unnecessarily narrow?

Is the Red Pill actually trying to help men find partners, or is it only trying to help them find one very specific type of partner?
