I occasionally look through women's profiles on here, and it's actually quite amusing what women suggest to each other. While you could argue the same is true for men, there's a pretty general pattern and guidelines for what is considered tight game for a man, regardless of said man’s physical attraction. For women, the amount of leverage you can pull to influence pre and peri attraction is much lower.

For example, I saw this suggested to a woman in her late 30s, while the poster is presumably in her mid 20s:

I don't think your standards are too high. In fact, are you sure they're not too LOW?

Do you make your needs known early and directly in a relationship and immediately next men who do not meet them? Or do you frame them more as suggestions, and are willing to take breadcrumbs from men? How decisive are you with your needs & dealbreakers?

A woman in her mid-20s simply cannot understand or empathize with the plight a woman in her late 30s has irregardless of their own, individual relative attractiveness. For a lot of men, hearing a woman is in her late 30s (let's say she's fairly attractive and she doesn't quite look her age) is a total boner killer.

This was suggested to a woman who can't even find a date (aka she was probably ugly and/or low value):

In my experience any time I tried to date someone I wasn't 100% into from the beginning it did not go well. There was nothing wrong with the guys--and many of them would have been fine as friends--but trying to be romantically into them felt like a chore. I'm really glad I married a guy I was wildly attracted to from the get go.

Only women who are young and so inherently attractive can actually go by this sort of advice and find a man who fits her criterion for marriage/long-term relationships. Sure, most women will be able to get their dream guy to fuck them for a few weeks, but any girl who needs advice on how to do that is basically the equivalent to a failing special education student.

90 percent of women have standards that are way too high to give the even a realistic chance of meeting a man, especially one willing to give them marriage since that man's value far outweighs her own. IIRC, someone did the math in another post by going by income and height alone, and it filtered it down to something like 1 in a 1000 men, not including whatever interpersonal factors or preferences they have.

The actual practical advice is that women looking to get married should prioritize what they find most important in a potential mate and try to make secondary attractors of less importance.

It's funny how women here will claim men give useless advice to women on dating, when this is the kind of mindless, counterproductive bullshit they tell other women that leads them to becoming jaded cat moms.

All in all, if you don't know what the value of the woman who's telling you X advice, you probably should take it with a grain of salt.
