It’s not a secret that a low value man will settle for any woman who is willing to give him the time of day, including one they don’t really like or want. These men will often not know why they are with that woman in particular because she could be anybody. I remember when my first boyfriend wanted to get back with me years ago and he said he wanted to be with me because of my values. When I asked him what my values are he said the following: “you think everyone should be equal, you are kind, and you work hard.” That was it. Everything he said could apply to literally millions, if not billions of women. There was nothing specific in what he said because he was not interested in me as a fully realised human being. He was only interested in not being alone.

When vetting a man, make sure that he does not see you as a generic placeholder. He should have very specific reasons for wanting to be with you, because you are a unique individual with something unique to offer. Don’t fall for the fluffy words because if you dig deeper, you’ll find they have absolutely no substance.
