I like this a lot. At the end of the day, the bullshit needs to be dropped and we need to realize that gender doesn't really have any inherent value. There are, and always will be, advantages to being male and to being female, and disadvantages to being either. We should make the most of who we are, but fight injustice where it's wrong.

I agree with all of this!! You should definitely be proud of who you are and absolutely not apologize for your gender. That's seriously fucked up that anyone would expect you to. Just a gentle reminder that feminists want equality between sexes, not a hiarchy with women on top. I know there's a lot of man-haters and specifically white male haters out there that call themselves feminists but they couldn't be further from them. Feminists aren't against men. Why would you even think that? The only men feminists are against are criminals and assholes, and we should all be against criminals and assholes. In reality, feminists are only interested in changing the sexist social structures that hold us all back, including men. Some feminists are toxic assholes, but I could just as easily point you to toxic assholes in this community as well, so I find it easy to just ignore the few idiots in either case. In general, however, we should be working together as our goals are the same: to eliminate unfair sexism in our society. The only reason I can see for being anti-feminism is if you are in favor of sexism or just a misogynist. Now, that wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people are unironically like that, given the way I see many speak around here, but if that's the case, just be open/honest and admit to it. And why not take your misogynist propaganda to a subreddit that actually IS supposed to be for that.
