It's no secret that most average men get rejected by most of the women they approach. Not necessarily because they're ugly or anything like that, but simply due to the massive list of red flags and requirements that most women have for non-top tier men.

The Problem

There's a catch 22 here where if a woman notices that you've been running around hitting on everyone and she's number 20 tonight, then she's clearly going to reject you even if she's in the 5% or so of women who would otherwise be interested in you.

The reasons are actually very reasonable for her to reject you:

  • You clearly have low standards if every woman is a target.
  • Since 19 women rejected you in a row you're clearly low value (this is tied into the fact that women aren't aware of how bad the odds are for the average guy).
  • She's going to feel offended that even with your supposed low standards you still approached 19 other women first, meaning you clearly value her a lot less.

The Solution

Men need to be subtle in their approaches and rely on IOI's and plausible deniability when hitting on women in social environments. The one advantage that OLD has here is that she doesn't know she's your first proper conversation in 200 right swipes (unless you're stupid enough to tell her), however more subtlety and finesse is required in a social setting.
