True. Men should not partake in the humiliation ritual that is the modern dating market. Only a select few men win due to inherent physical traits or wealth. The majority of men only get lucky when they start seeing older women who are post-wall that will take any beta they can get before they're unable to have kids or age out of the dating market for good. Even after you score that depreciating dependent, you could be taken to a biased court at any moment and lose most of your assets, future income, and children for absolutely no reason. You never really even "chose" her, she chose you. You're never in control. You never win.

I have enough experience to just not care. This type of stuff doesn't mean anything to me. There's going to be women you that give it to you within an hour of meeting you, there's going to be others who give it to you depending on the situational.

Life is way too dynamic to be caught up about what past men did.

In return, I don't expect women to hound me about what I did or didn't do for other women based on timeframe.

I like to live life as a lazy panda, so I usually do try to do the bear minimum.

But I don't think that this advice works for attracting women, because it opens a man up to being outcompeted by other men. Even if a man thinks that only looks are important, a man can still be outcompeted by the equally good looking man who gets a better haircut, wears a better wardrobe, or who works out more.

I disagree with this. If you just want to fuck you may get an easy or quick lay by doing this every once in a while if your mildly attractive. But if you find a girl who’s really attractive and showing u interest you should try to treat her like she’s special. If she’s a good girl she’ll do the same and it’ll be a good experience.

If you’re just trying to pipe and move on tho I agree do the minimum. if she wants to fuck it doesn’t matter whether you do the most or virtually nothing she’ll fuck you. If she doesn’t want to fuck the effort it takes to even get a chance is not worth it.

Correct assessment but incorrect thinking.

If we have always done the things minimum just because of the absence of guarantee of success, we would still be in stone ages.

You do not do things in relationships because you expect it to come back to you. Instead in healthy relationships, you do things for the kindness of your own heart. You do not assume, you do not expect. If they actually cherish and value the things you did for them, they may reciprocate. And they may not. And that is where you draw the line. If you feel like you did many things yet you did not get reciprocation or acknowledgement in any way for a really long time in a relationship, you should start to plot your exit route. Keeping things minimum and gatekeeping favors, affection, and appreciation will always backfire and make things more complicated in the long run.

This is kind of like people who say to always give the bare minimum at work. Like yes, don’t go above and beyond for jobs that pay the bare minimum with no real upward mobility. But you also need to be looking for a better job, and if that’s your attitude with every job you get, don’t be surprised when you only keep shit jobs and stay poor.

Likewise, bending over backwards for people who aren’t into you in hopes of changing their mind is pointless. However, continuing to engage with these people at all is also pointless, and if you give the bare minimum in all of your relationships, don’t be surprised when you only attract undesirable people or end up alone. Everything in life takes effort, the trick is giving that effort to people and situations that deserve it, and moving on from the rest.
