Depends on age as someone else said. But for my target age range (mid to late 20s), 20+ bodies puts me off.

I’m a bit more liberal in this regard bc I think it’s reasonable to have casual sex here and there. But if you’re having casual sex with a new partner every other week or month, our values are not aligned.

I believe that both extremes are bad. If I met a girl who was virgin we likely wouldn’t be compatible because our views on sex are so radically different. It would also indicate that a woman is ether very uptight.

If a girl was an absolute hoe and everyone has had their turn with her, the she doesn’t respect herself enough. While I wouldn’t judge a woman for having a ONS or two, doing this multiple times indicates a proclivity to risk taking/thrill seeking behaviour I would not be down for. Not to mention the risk of STIs.

So long story short, the ideal is somewhere in the middle. Now everyone’s defining of what the middle is varies greatly, but to me I’d say once a girl hits double digits she had be better something really special in order for me to consider a LTR.

The closer to 5 the better, but the dealbreakers being that she isn’t stuck at 0 or goes past 9.

Imagine Amy who has had sex with 2 guys, both long term boyfriends.

Now take Rebecca, who has had sex with 2 guys, both hookups.

They are about the same age.

Amy has probably had a lot more sex than Rebecca, yet I'd take Amy over Rebecca.

Why? Attitude towards sex. That's the main point, and the main reason why we care about body count.

Having casual sex is fine with me unless it's a sign of mental health issues. I don't judge myself for a high body count and i don't see any negative effects of that for my relationship, so why would i treat her differently?

Depends on age but if we're talking up to the age of 30, anything above 5 means there's some one night stands in there.

It's not necessarily the body count though, it's the mentality it represents. I want a woman who is searching for someone to settle down with. Sometimes relationships dont work out. But hooking up with guys in clubs / off tinder shows she doesn't have the right mindset.

I’m almost 25 and am at 19. However most of the people came from being inexperienced in sex and love. I accumulated 11 bodies from 16-18. Obviously I learned from that I was just hanging out with girls that thought sex was validating. So glad I cut them off after high school. From 18-25 was 9. Long term 3 people. I don’t think it’s wild of you do the math, nor do I feel slutty about it (minus the teenage years)

As a 20 year old, 5 is a lot to me. But at 25 it would be acceptable. It depends on age. But in general double digits is too much for people who are more traditional ( as in they date for marriage/ aim to be married by 30).

Assuming she's telling the truth, I'd be put off by anything above 5, honestly. However, I'd also be interested in how she views sex. If she sees it as a recreational activity, there's no way I would commit any time or resources to her.

For a girl in her mid 20s, a realistically low body count would be 10 and under. That's LTR and marriage territory in my book given that we're compatible in most other areas.

The breakdown of that body count matters too. A girl might have a combination of 3 relationships, 3 hookups and 2 FWBs. That's normal. But if she has only had casual sex or short term situationships, it would raise a flag.

The average girl nowadays has a double digit body count. Anecdotal data. I heard it many times from male/female friends and my own gf. And it's been rapidly rising since the advent of dating apps, Cardi B, Meg Thee Stallions, Love Island, FBoi Island, and any other pop culture degeneracy you can name.

Despite the 7 body count CDC might have told you. That study was done in 2015, before everybody was jumping on the Tinder bandwagon.

If you're a guy and you're looking for a low body count partner, the better question would be how to vet a low body count woman.

It's all completely subjective. People will disagree on the exactly number either by a small or large amount.

Bisexual people will obviously have a tendency to have a higher body count due to have sex with more than one cis gender that is. If someone is pansexual, then that will increase even more. If you're bisexual/pansexual, it's not hard at all to get a body count up to over 30 between both cis men and women you've been with.

It's subjective. And I don't start relationships without knowing body counts first. In particular, if her multiple was greater than my N count, then I simply didn't consider her. How do compute this. Let's say her N count is 15 and mine is 3. Then, 15/3 = 5. I call this the N2 count. If her N2 > N1, then she's automatically not considered. How many Western women have I met who not only failed this, but also that N3 count. What is that? Her N2/my N1. I have met women whose N1 = 40. So let's say mine is 3. Then, 40/3 = 13.3=N2. Then 13/3 = 4= N3. So, her N1, N2, and N3 counts are all higher. I'm giving this as an example to easily comprehend the math.

Personally, the body count for me isn't the issue as much as her behaviors surrounding it.

Was any lying or infidelity involved in any level? Was she ever a willing affair partner? Was she lying to everyone and running around with sneaky links? Is she constantly searching and seeking out validation from other men?

Her behaviors will give me idea if she would be a stable compatible relationship partner or not. If there is a yes to any of those questions, she is immediately disqualified as a possible dating option.

Now if the person has a extremely high count, for instance if she's 25 but claims a body count of 60+ as an example, I'll disqualify her based on that count because it's obvious we have very different views of sex, intimacy as a whole.

The possibility of her not being able to pair bond or never being happy in a long term relationship without other sex partners rises significantly the higher the body count.

I am not wanting to spend my time building a relationship only to have it crumble because she wants her back blown out by the neighborhood chads.

I strongly prefer woman who've never had sex. It makes little difference to me whether her # is 1 or 10.

I'm not sure exactly how I'd react to her not being a virgin. That would depend on the specifics of the situation. In the past it would've been a deal breaker, though nowadays if it really is the case that "everything about her is perfect" & she's what I'm looking for, I'd potentially even be willing to let 20+ slide. It would probably be a deal breaker if she ever engaged in sex work, ever had kids (including having an abortion), or if she lived a double life while pretending to be a good Christian girl at the time. I'm more inclined to be lenient if her body count is typical or below-typical for her age, if she only did it because she felt pressured or was super horny + drunk/on drugs, & if she wasn't a practicing Christian at the time. I changed my standard on this when a girl I liked revealed that she wasn't a virgin, though I realized that I still wanted to date her anyways.
