I often work late nights until closing time and open up the next day. One particular weekend I saw a hen party in the pub. I remember faces pretty well, so I knew which ones were acting "loose". They sat in a particular corner on a Friday night.

Saturday morning rolls around and before I've opened two chicks are banging the door, I look at the cameras and lo and behold tis two from last night's hen party.

One of them, who was acting loose the night before, asks if I found a jacket during clean up. I say there were a few, and tell her to come in and take a look. She comes into the cloakroom and finds her jacket and goes straight for the pockets, then turns to her friend and says "they're not there". Then they both look at me and say something along the lines of "what the fuck did you do with my stuff". I told them I had no interest in their belongings and asked what was missing. She tells me her wedding ring and engagement ring, she had taken them off and left them in her pocket and that I must have stolen them.

At first I got defensive, but I realized what was happening. So I asked "if you started the night with your wedding rings on, why would you take them off?"

Just like that, she back pedals and says someone else must have taken them. They left shortly after.

Moral is, she was looking for someone to blame, so she could tell hubby that someone stole her rings, and technically she wouldn't be lying.

I have many more tales like this. Many, many more. And even more aphorisms and nuggets of advice from bachelors, older men and married men. I should write a book sometime.

Great post. It's been a while since I've been to the club, but I thought Id share something that always reminds me with bouncers. About 7 years ago I was at a friends birthday party. Some drunk asshole shoves me out of the blue with my back turned. Im tipsy and Im about 150 and not the tallest guy (about 5,7). I turn around ready to defend my honor and raise my fists. Some TRP related stories that stick out to me are as follows.

I was working the smoke pit which was one of my favourite posts. I got to chat up the patrons and this usually made for some hilarious conversations. Keep in mind at this time I was dating someone so I never actively tried to pick up women. One time this woman came out and asked me for a smoke. We chatted about some casual stuff before I asked her why she was so upset (she was holding back tears). Man, I read the entire comment section and now it disgusts me. I read it, tried to sleep, couldn't sleep and somehow felt the compulsion to write here.

I live in a small German town where it's difficult to meet women. Especially when you don't speak German. Although I'm a university student but I haven't had much luck with women here. Or let's say, not the way I would quantify luck. I would love to meet with someone and share a meaningful time. I do get laid, not very often, but it's fine.

But after reading all this, I find it abhorrent to even ask for a relationship. Maybe I should just keep it casual and find a new girl every month, have fun and score more. The double standard and the amount of lies these chicks tell is astounding. I was in Bratislava once, met a girl in the hostel, went to club, screwed her in the girls toilet and came back. I thought this happens rarely - as in the time between open and close not more than 30 min. I'm 185 and 58 kg. Decent at gaming but not so very good looking in terms of physique. Theses hoes could get whatever they want.

I was a bouncer for five and a half years. I can confirm what OP says. I worked in my local dive bar that ran all the Ravs and local vands in the area. Having 1200 people crammed into the building for the night,with most of woman grinding on the dance floor in nothing more than their underwear was both fun and eye opening. Kind of off-topic but I used to bartend in college at a local dive bar. After preparing limes and shit I'd work the door until it got busy. All I had to do was check I.D. Around 8 or 9 a bouncer would take over the door and I would go to slinging beers and well drinks. One weekend we had a bad fight (wasn't there for it) and the owner decided to hire a new and lead bouncer to get the group up to speed. I was doing my usual Friday night routine and checking I.d at the door. Mind you I'm a manlet, 5'7" 210 lb.. This dude is maybe 6' and overweight, I can't recall his name, lets say Bill. Bill comes up to me telling me he can't have me working the door, and if something where to happen what could I do? Basically I sum it up as he's a dick, whatever, I'm here to make cash. So I go to my bar and start working. Bill and I have a relationship deteriorate over the course of about 6 months. He was always condescending and demeaning, but I ignored him and made that money. Now the bar I was responsible for faced a dance floor, with its back facing the entrance walk way. I had some drunk hens get behind my bar one night trying to be cute grabbing liquor. After that situation I told Roadhouse Bill to put some chairs or have one of his henchmen keep an eye on the little knoll behind my bar. He blew it off. Fast forward, it's Christmas time in Maine. My good friend has made assistant manager. Its a slow night on a Saturday due to a blizzard. We decide to rent 2 rooms at a days inn next door and get sloppy ass drunk with a few locals at the bar. Only 3 on staff, me, him, and a waitress. After a lot of beers we moved onto some tequila from my little bar (this is important) and start mixing drinks and shot glass towers falling all over the place. Well fate should have it a bus of Canadians had pulled in to stay at the hotel next door. So we are pickled and about 20 Canadians come in to drink and eat bar food. We have a blast with these crazy Fuckers. We ended up slaying about 3 bottles of tequila from the little bar I work at, how, I assume with our Canadian brethren. Morning comes, and we have to clean this frat house mess first thing. We clean, I leave for campus and put it out of mind. Friday comes along and we have meeting with all the staff . The owner is fucking pissed, he did a bottle count and my bar is missing these bottles of tequila. I'm blanking on what to say, and then it hits me like a lightning bolt. "I fucking told Bill about that about a month ago! People getting behind my bar stealing shit ." The owner looks at Bill, and asks if that's true. Bill says yes and before he can defend himself the owner tells him he's fired and to get the Fuck out of here. My buddy the assist manager is trying to keep a straight face. I had a shit eating grin watching that fucker leave.

This reminds me of a night when I went to a club with a plate and her sister that insisted to join us because her 50 years old beta provider husband "annoyed" her and that he's an "idiot".

1.She slapped the ass of one of the bouncers inside of the club and started grinding against him. 2. I've been to so many bars, pubs, clubs, raves, events or concert. Even during the week, from the start, from the main time, to the point where they closed. What I always find astonishing that I never witnessed anything close to a 50:50 male:female ratio. The best I saw was like a 65:35 ratio and the worst like 99:1 (smaller rap concert, was on death metal concert with a better ratio). I speaking of my hometown and the two far bigger towns next to it where I hang out.

I have 3 friends(two barkeepers one bouncer) that work for the company/person that owns several bars and clubs in my town so they see different kind of bars and clubs to different times and events. They confirm these male over representation. The bouncer guy was supposed to let in more women than men for one night and they were not able to do so unless they let in way to less people in.

Funny think is, this ratio is still present in university fields where the male:female ratio is the opposite from STEM fields, where most of the guys show up to those parties and only a few of the women.

I dunno if it's been mentioned in the hundreds of comments but here in the uk there was a case of a bouncer who fucked so many women on "girls nights out" that when it was revealed he had HIV literally hundreds of women turned out for testing.

Originally the nurses thought he was bull shitting when he said how many partners he had but lo and behold out came the sluts from the woodwork.

Interesting how you mentioned the soon to be bride at the club. When most of the girls I’ve pulled at clubs have been either married woman and then I find out they are married on their Instagram the next day. So I never talk to them ever again, and have direct personal experience with this one.
