In my experience, men who are attractive do not tear women down because of their looks. They have a wide spectrum of what is beautiful because they know that being conventionally attractive sometimes isn’t enough. Men who aren’t good looking blame all their problems on not being attractive and hate women for not wanting anything to do with them. Never mind the fact that beautiful women often date/marry men who are nowhere near as attractive as them all the time.

This reminds me of how many men would say 'Men don't have to be good looking though' when people call out the double standards. An example would be 'Women have to shave' and someone, A REASONABLE person could refute that it is an unfair request because how about men?
