I’d date a PPD user for sure. I’d never date a RP guy, and they’d never date me so it’s all good.

In general I only date people with the same broad views and values. I do enjoy a debate and getting to know different perspectives, but that’s not something I feel a need to bring into the context of a relationship.

There's a good number of people here I think would be fun to hang out with, but dating someone for the purpose of changing their views is kinda cringe. I doubt it would ever work and just leave you both frustrated.

That being said, as a purple piller/egalitarian, idk if I'd be keen to go on a date with my opposite. I assume he'd either be an extremely conservative, slightly misogynistic dude or an ultra-sjw radfem dude?

Knee jerk reaction, I would be somewhat relieved to learn that this woman who I apparently mesh well with is also a lowly pile of trash tbh. Maybe that's a toxic trait of mine, but I'm always a bit relieved to learn that a partner/potential partner has damning flaws -we all do. I've let out a mental sigh of relief upon seeing a potential partner's car/room is a mess; upon learning that they like eating at Denny's/Waffle House/other grimey shitty places; that they too have some stupid ignorant beliefs, and so on. So definitely, if we're already getting along, I'd continue dating them.

It depends what she's like. There's times where we can playfully go back and forth then yes, if her whole personality is being a feminist and unironically hating men then no. Basically, if it's mostly banter with a little bit of seriousness that's cool, but not the other way around.

Edit: it's also a dealbreaker if she constantly says "men are trash"

It’s weird that all the women are assuming all men here are Redpill, although that may be a result of how OP phrased the question.

The honest answer though is sure. I think people forget that Reddit doesn’t represent peoples actual personalities and behaviours. A forum like this is where people can express their angry thoughts, they can experiment with controversial ideas. It isn’t real life and people will inevitably be less extremist in person.

It depends. I think a lot of the guys here are pretty combative and unwilling to take the perspective of a woman, whereas I am more than capable of taking a man’s perspective. So if he’s one of those, then hell no. I can’t argue with an arrogant brick wall.

But I’ve also talked to some cool dudes here who seek understanding and share their perspectives respectfully. The ratio is a little off between these two groups, though.

I could date a woman from PPD, if we were compatible, formed emotional connection and I liked her smell. I doubt I could connect with any of the guys here, as the ones who I find decent are into casual and the ones who aren’t are into traditionalism and pretty often just jerks.

And I’d never date someone whose views I couldn’t respect or accept. So no TRP, black pill or traditionalism for me.

I dated a man who has quite the opposite of my views (my views have gotten more liberal over the past 13 years so I was closer to his back then). It was the worst experience of my life. He was socially stunted and cheated on me. He was religious, conservative, wanted a woman to exclusively be a housewife/mom. So, no I would not consider dating someone like that again if I were single.

I'd date someone on this sub who had roughly the same views as I do, but not someone with opposite views like you say.

I'm not even red-pilled per se. I consider myself purple, like my flair suggests, but I still definitely wouldn't date a feminist. That has less to do with my views on dating though, and more to do with my political views and my more fundamental moral views that underpin them.

That said, I suppose it's possible for a woman to have opposite views from me on dating in some regards, but still share my overall values, depending on her reasons for those views.

For instance, a tradcon woman might believe that dating is harder for women than men, because she is highly concerned with the fear of a man using her for sex, especially since this is so prevalent with modern, liberal, sexually liberated men, and especially since she is more concerned with preserving her sexual modesty compared to other women.

Although I sympathize with those valid concerns, I think her fear would be somewhat paranoid since all it takes to prevent being pumped and dumped is to practice abstinence, which she would presumably already be doing. And I'd disagree with her conclusion because, although women do have legitimate dating struggles (the aforementioned being one of them), I think the sum whole of men's dating struggles are greater than women's. But I would still potentially be willing to date such a woman because I don't think that sort of disagreement would be enough to suggest a difference in fundamental values.

I'm a feminist and there's certain areas I and a redpilled man would probably agree e.g. I always split the bill etc. I don't like the resentment towards women that a lot of redpillers have, I think they would assume the worst during a divorce and make things unnecessarily antagonistic. And I worry that they wouldn't be able to advocate for me in situations like childbirth or that sort of thing.

I also just don't see our lifestyles mixing very well. I'm a professional woman, most of my friends are queer, I smoke weed all day and I'm a bit fat. So I don't think I would appeal in any way to that sort of fella.

I could possibly be friends irl with four people here if I actually knew them, they seem less hostile and more mature.

As for dating......maybe two of the women here but none of the men. I don't want to judge or sound cruel, but I can't date someone that gives me the impression that they'd be sexually abusive or physically and emotionally abusive. I don't like control freaks and I can safely say that I outright hate narcissists and think they're lower that parvo riddled dog shit, and there's a good deal of narcissism flying around here for me to consider dating anyone here.
