The gender pay gap is a good example of privilege and not equality, it's eqaultiy if you good paid the same for the same work, not when you work less hours, do less dangerous work and are less willing to travel and such, if you think that women and men need to make the exact same on a total basis you are arguing that women desere to get paid more for working in less dangerous jobs and ones that have more benefits hence the privilege and not equality.

How scummy is it to take advantage of social welfare programs if you're not needy?

I have enough saved up to pay for 10+ years of living expenses but I'm nowhere wealthy enough to retire. Some programs are income but not asset tested, so you could have millions of dollars but still qualify if you have zero income.

I'm thinking about taking an extended break from work to travel or just relax and will have no earned income.

Generally not a fan of Matt Walsh and think he has some deranged opinions, but he said something very insightful recently: the more interesting question we should ask in regards to Andrew Tate is not about whether he says is right or wrong, but WHY do so many men seem to resonate with his messages? If not Tate, another figure will come along with similar beliefs.

The consensus normie belief in regards to dating seems to be that either a) young men are not struggling (you aren't entitled to sex go away boo haha kind of thing) or b) young men are struggling but it's because women have upped their standards and men aren't up to par.

As with all things in life, the truth is somewhere in the middle. What people get wrong is that young men aren't up to par, but young women are also not up to par. The average person is not a very enticing dating prospect. Average people still get married and have kids, sure, but the divorce rate and rate of children born out of wedlock is quite high in the US. The west has some serious issues, personal accountability very high among them.

Something I've realized about TRP and the former FDS sub- both sides encourage each other to become exactly what the other gender is afraid of:

Some men want women to feel ashamed of casual sex so that women are kept from satisfying their sexual needs, making them desperate for relationships in which they can comfortably have sex, and then those same men pretend like they want "relationships" with the sexually starved women in order to deceive them into having sex.

If women universally rejected societally imposed shame about casual sex, I hypothesize fewer of them would end up feeling "used" for sex, or pumped and dumped. Because if they see sex as simply sex and not something that's only meant to be had with someone who truly loves you, they could easily get their sexual needs met and not be lured into sex with insincere men through fake love and commitment. They would essentially achieve the female version of post-nut clarity and not waste their time and feelings on disingenuity.

Just got home from the clubs and have to say it was a good night.

One of my sure things went as expected, nothing out of the usual.
